I'm just wondering, cause my mom tells me to take my vitamins, and I don't, cause they taste gross. Does this affect the growing process at all? Cause I am 14, 5'2, 93 lbs., don't have my period, and I'm pretty small for my age. Is this because I'm not taking it?

I've been going to this gym for a couple months now, and I want to meet someone to workout with while I'm there. How can I approach someone without seeming super lame or seeming like a wierdo? My sister keeps telling me to just walk up to someone and start talking but I did that once and the girl that I struck up a conversation with seemed to not want to be bothered. So I quickly ended that conversation. Any suggestions?

I was on the depo shot from Jan to Mar. I started my period in the middle of March. As soon as I was due to get the next shot I decided I wanted to switch to the pill so I have been on the pill from April-now. I have been bleeding every since March! It is horrible I am tired of it! I went to planned parent hood after bleeding for a month and they tolf me it was because I was coming off of the shot. I then had a kidney infection and had to go to the hospital about that and when I went to the doctor to make sure the infection was gone (it was) I told her about the bleeding(about 2 1/2 months of bleeding) she also told me it was because of the shot. Well I have been bleeding for 5 months now and I know that this is not normal and I am not taking "it is because of the shot" as an answer anymore. Anybody have an idea of what could be going on?? I have cramps and the bleeding goes from light to heavy, normally light. I get dizzy and have headaches. I am only 20 years old. Please help!

24 years old. 3 ultrasounds and a CT scan, all showing nothing, except "probable cysts" from the CT scan. 4-5 normal pelvic exams... no one can find anything. CONSTANT lower right side pain. it started last summer after climbing off a bunk bed, thought i felt a pulling sensation? then it started coming and going w/ periods, starting the same day, lasting 3-4 days after it ended. after about 6 months it turned constant. the pain was a VERY tender, just sore pain in my lower right side. it hurts to roll over or sit up in bed. it hurts to push on, it feels like something is swollen almost? i've had full blood work done too, and nothing is abnormal. the doc. put me on birth control and that helped almost immediately, but if i miss even ONE pill, or the week of the inactive pills, it's pure hell, w/ unbelievable soreness. can cysts really form that fast? w/ in a day? and why does it take the birth control 4-5 days to "make it feel better" again? i don't understand why no tests show anything

Are they effective??? If it has worked for anyone- how many pounds did you lose? I've only been on them since yesterday, (2) 700 mg tablets 2x daily- before lunch & dinner. Has anyone tried this & worked for them? I need some advice on this please. I'm trying to lose 10 pounds & I wanted a boost. They was only $20 cause they were on sale, so I bought them- contains 40 tablets- for 10 days. Thanks.

I have had about all I can take of sweet potatoes. It is summer time and I want something lighter. I eat them for the beta-carotene and vitamin A. If I replace my sweet potatoes with red russet potatoes and add some raw carrots in my diet, will it still give me the same nutrients? or do sweet potatoes have alot more than carrots? My diet allows for 4oz of sweet potatoes equally 117 calories and 27 carbs. Any thoughts?

Why do I have bigger breasts then my sister? She's only 2 years younger then me. (I'm 14, she's 12) and she practically has no boobs. And she weighs more then me, so should'nt she have bigger breasts? I had bigger breasts then her when I was 12, and I don't understand why. She's my sister, so don't we have the same genes and we will develop the same way??

i have like at least 2 cup sizes bigger than 90% of my friends, and i personally think it sucks. i have to be extra careful about what i wear, cause most clothes will look slutty when all the rest of the girls can wear it and itll look completely appropriate! & im in school, so its extremely hard. also, i like to run a lot, but that can be problems sometimes without a Really good sports bra. most girls wish for 'bigger chests' but id rather not. what would you rather be, which one's likely better?? anyways, i heard when ur pregnant and have a baby, your chest grows a lot anyways, so id rather be flat.

Hi! I've lost 11lbs over the summer which im really proud of! But i'm worried that i'm going to put it back on because I won't have enough time to exercise. What can I do? And also what can I bring to school for lunch.? [[i can buy my lunch there but I dont think that its the best for me]] I'd also like to tone up my stomach because even though i lost weight i still have a few wobbly bits. So how can I do this??

In 2003 I had 2 cysts' on my right ovary and had my right ovary removed. Prior to that after my 3rd pregnancy I had my tubes tied. Since then, most of my periods are painful on the right side of my pelvic area. I also just recently had my gallbladder removed for pain in the upper right quadrant of my abdomin. The pain prior to that surgery is also still there. Now I have pain in the pelvic area again on the right side even if I'm not on my period. I have a lot of bloating of the stomach most of the time. I was told years ago that I have IBS, but this feels different from that. Could this be something serious, or could it be as simple as scar tissue? I worry about endometriosis and even cancer. Looking for someone with similar symptoms and what it may be caused by. Unfortanely I have not had an exam in a while and have just made an appointment for this. Any ideas???

I used to be 100, and I had a lot of work (I do commercial
modelling) and then I gained 16 pounds in three months (because I started earning better and started eating). I am 116 now, and I am like a bulldozer, photographers say, and they do not want me anymore! And my rent is due next month 18, and if I do not pay, I will end on the streets, I had once, when I did not have any work, and I am all alone, and can reply on myself only. I tried so hard, but I can't stop eating. There are so many nice things out there, and even today I ate too much: grapes and olives, and tomatoes with cucumbers, and lentils, and won't shed anything again.
What should I do, how can I stop eating?

I haven't always been like this, but every since my dad past away, i've been terrified of dying. I'm scared of how i will die. The thought won't get out of my head, Im terrified to leave my family behind, terrfied of how painful it wil lbe, terrified of when it's going tohappen.

Oaky, i know that everyone dies, and i know that i WILL die someday. I know this. But i am still terrified. My friends and i went to the fair a few nights ago, and i couldnt even ride any rides because i was terrified they could break and i would die a horrible death.

What can i do to get over this fear? Please dont laugh. I know i sound crazy. But after my dad died, i have been going through a lot.
