They enjoy the music and the artist. The music might mirror something they are going through in their life. They might have specific memories connected to the music they like to revisit.

people listen to music that they like.. don't u have any music that tells u?.. when u find it u will also listen same music over and over again..

When some people listen to a particular song, that puts them a mood for dancing they don't just want to hear it once, so they repeat the same song played on a CD, tape player or contact the DJ at the station for a request to play it.

they enjoy the artist and their music..but i know what you mean some people listen any type of music again and again and they are doing it everytime it kinda **** you off when you dont like that music..

Yes, have at least.
i actually played a song 7x a week 10 hours a day for a year and people around me says that i am driving them crazy for that, but i am happy cos i love that song

I play the same song on "repeat" for days. Music is a drug - we abuse tracks by running them over and over and when we're done, we're done (for the time being). It feels good.
