I have had about all I can take of sweet potatoes. It is summer time and I want something lighter. I eat them for the beta-carotene and vitamin A. If I replace my sweet potatoes with red russet potatoes and add some raw carrots in my diet, will it still give me the same nutrients? or do sweet potatoes have alot more than carrots? My diet allows for 4oz of sweet potatoes equally 117 calories and 27 carbs. Any thoughts?

Sweet potatoes are better overall than carrots, which are mostly sugar. I know how you feel about getting sick of them though.
