St Johns wort is a natural anti depressant that can help. Also what you eat has a big effect on your mood. I know how hard it is to motivate yourself to cook when depressed but fresh produced meals with plenty of protein, carbs and iron are important. I have severe depression and find it difficult too. Contact me if you want to chat and have some of my delicious recipes!! Also the obvious applies - limited alcohol, junk food etc etc. Give us a shout xx

Hey, I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling depressed. I went through anxiety and depression for so long and I know how hard it can be at times-hang in there things can and will only get better.
I tried anti-depressants and found myself having side effects and would have rather not taken them. So, I started searching the internet for anything that would possibly help me. I found one of the best websites and have been ordering from them ever since. A psycologist makes the medicine in pharmacutical laboratories and it is all natural. Also, they give you your money nack if you don't like the product. The site is listed below, go there and check it out.
I really hope this helps and know that many americans suffer with depression. You will get better, it's only a matter of time. :)

A natural and very affective remedy is St Johns Wort tablets, they can be bought in a health food shop (holland & Barrett usually have them on spesh offer) they def have an impact on mild depression. Also one banana a day is supposed to help alleviate mild depression. However, if it is more than mild you should see a Dr. Good luck

The most popular things for general relaxation are Valerian, Chamomile, and Hops.... but some people actually wake up when they take these and are just very relaxed.
There are also some supplements that can help with stress and relaxation if you wanted natural help for that. There is St. John's Wart, SAMe, some B-Vitamins, GABA, Ashwagandha, and L-Theanine

Have you seen a doctor?
I appreciate that you don't want to take antidepressants, but sometimes it's the only thing that works.
Have you tried St John's Wort as an alternative. Some people have good results from this.

Most natural cures for depression are fixing a natural cause of depression, like lack of sunlight, sleep, fresh air, exercise and lack of different nutrients. See site below for more on this.

One of the best natural ways to get rid of depression is to eat spicy food's such as chili and curry, it has actually been proven that they increase the happy chemical into your body not only that but they also speed up your metabolism so it is kind of like chocolate but it doesn't make you fat it makes you skinny.
