Whenever I put in tampons it's easy and doesnt hurt at all. I leave them in for a long time until they are practically leaking, but taking them out is horrible. It hurts reallyy bad! This may sound nasty, but i used a mirror to see what the problem was, and there was a piece of skin or something preventing it from coming out and it was hard getting the tampon around the skin to get out. When the tampon pulled on the skin piece hurt really bad! What is the problem and how can I help it!?

is it possible some sort of infection in my blood stream can do this even if it aint a reaction from the food?. i've never really heard of an allergy causing spots but is it true?

My husband went to the ophthalmology office for routine eye exam. He told the doctor the primary reason for visit is need a prescription for new pair eyeglass. When the doctor bill to the insurance, they used code for medical eye exam and refuse to submit service as routine eye exam. Because during the exam doctor find pinguecula “a type of conjunctival degeneration in the eye. It is extremely common and it is most prevalent in tropical climates and is in direct correlation with UV exposure”

My question is: can doctor bill this service as medical eye exam?

I am only 14 and got my period about a year ago. I am going to my lakehouse with a bunch of friends this weekend and we will be swimming a lot! I absolutely hate tampons and I want to try to delay my period until next week. I will not take pills or wierd stuff like I have been seeing! I heard that if you stress or work out a lot it might delay. How much do I have to work out? I was supposed to get it 2 days ago, but I guess my stress has delayed it for right now. I need to keep it from coming for the next 4 days! What should I do?

I have an open/under bite and I am expecting to have jaw surgery sometime before the summer is up. Susposedly, they're going to be doing everything from the inside, so I'll have no scaring on the outside. To be completely honest I'm dreading it and completely petrified. I've never had any kind of major surgery before. I have high expectations with my results. Anybody here had a similar procedure done? I don't want you to scare me I just wanna know like, how do you eat and how long does the jaw have to be wired shut and stuff like that. Is there also anyway I can take something to keep me calm before I go into surgery? I have a consultation coming up soon and would also like ideas on questions to ask. Everything I will ask him but would like different opinions.

Can walking a mile a day delay or stop my period? I take my dog for a mile give or take everyday, a few times a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening. So it ends up being a few miles of walking once you add it up. I do this because school is out and the exersise is good. I know that some people who are very athletic and are in a lot of sports don't have their periods or not as often. So I was wondering if my walks help make my period easier, so far my period is late. But I am young and I definetly don't have a regular cycle.

I know that this question has been asked many times, but the answer is different for everyone. My boyfriend is a true alcoholic. We were together for a couple years and broke up because of his drinking ( I was pregnant with our child). We got back together 6 months ago. When he asked to get back together he told me that his drinking had slowed because of his care for our child. Now I can see that it hasn't. He has to drink from the time that he gets off of work until he passes out and on the weekends he starts drinking by noon. He is not violent (yet) when he drinks. I'm just very concerned for him because his whole family is full of alcoholics and they drink themselves into alot of debt. He never has money and works at a very highly paying job. He doesn't think that he has a problem and will not admit it. He keeps asking me to marry him & move back in together, but I keep telling him that I will not until the drinking slows. Also he always makes excuses for his drinking

I have been at my job for almost 10 months now and worry about losing it all of the time. I suffer from PTSD, sever depression and bipolar disorder. I go to therapy and am trying to get my life back on track... but becuase there are some days I have a flash backs, panic attacks or am just too depressed to finish out the work day (no more than once every three weeks) I am freaked because if I loose my job I loose all of the great work I have done over the last year. I will qualify for FMLA in a few months, but I don't know if I will last that long. Does anybody have any advice or resources that might help me keep my job or stay on the right track?

I have had ongoing pain since hernia surgery in January and cannot exercise for any extended period. My surgeon has no more advice other than to wait and hope. I am going to see an acupuncturist.

Does anyone recommend a specific acupuncturist in the MD suburbs of DC (where I live) or DC itself (where I work)? I can find lots of them but I have no basis to choose one over another.

Thanks.

My 3 year old son was killed in an automobile accident two years ago. I am coping with the death and have had counseling to do so. However, how do you deal with the guilt of being responsible for their death? I was only 10 feet away and because I didn't look twice my son is gone. So I feel a lot of guilt. Any suggestions?

I'm right in the middle of menstration, and I am not on any form of birth control. I am going on vacation in the middle of August, and I'd really rather not get my period while I'm there. Is it too late to use birth control and skip (or push back) my August period? If it's not too late, what do I need to do?

I am looking into switching to a birth control pill that would make you have your period every couple of months or would make it drastically lighter and shorter, I would prefer the first. Does anyone know which kind would be the best? I know they have some shots that do this but I would really prefer the pill.
