freederm works a treat but still i get spots, i think its the food i'm eating, something that triggers it off.
is it possible some sort of infection in my blood stream can do this even if it aint a reaction from the food?. i've never really heard of an allergy causing spots but is it true?

It is probably an allergy. I have gotten a spot like rash from an allergic reaction to medicine.

No foods can contribute towards acne directly. Poor diet builds up toxins in the body and these toxins give you bad skin and feelings of being unwell. Also hormonal imbalances can cause spots like at the time of month or stress.

yes food allergies can trigger skin irritation and spots.... i just took my son to the allergist(he has eczama and alleriges and food allergies) and we now have to avoid a lot of foods for two weeks , then reintroduce them to him one item for 3 days at a time to which ones are making his skin worse.
My advice to you is to notice what you eat then the reaction you have and try to avoid those foods if they are listed in the ingedients as the6th or above ingeridient.
Hope this helps!!!

I spotted at 13wks with my first pregnancy too, it's normal unles it's heavy and bright red. In any case if you are worried call your dr or mid-wife. I'm sure they will be happy to answer concern that you may have.
