she said i was having something kind of GERD and gave zantac tablets for 1 month now i am feeling better but sometimes am getting chest pain on my right side (aftre deep breathing and exhaling out)
can you tell me why?

the doctor said I have GERDS. my right side never hurt. it was only in the middle of my chest. it felt like i was going to throw up. i try to swallow and have to keep swallowing or my food will come up. one time it did. it was like my food was stuck in my esophagus and wouldn't pass through to my stomach. I am currently taking prilosec otc. it seems to help me

You may have erosive esophagitis. Discuss a possible referral to a gastroenterologist with your doctor.
