at her orthodontist appt. yesterday, the dentist asked me if she had ever been genetically tested, due to her severe shortage of permanent teeth to replace the baby teeth she has now. she added that such a severe shortage of permanent teeth can be a symtom of several genetic disorders. has anyone heard of any situation like this before? i am out of my element and at a loss, and helpless....and worried for my daughter.

I recently quit smoking and I'm very proud of myself because it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Now that I think I'm in the clear from going back to it, I'm wondering if my lungs will undue the damage I have done to them and how long it will take. I smoked for about 19 years.

I haven’t had my period for 2 years and then when I went to the doctors she put me on birth control. I started having my period regularly every month. I would take birth control and use a condom at the same time. One time like two weeks ago I was on my period and my boyfriend didn’t use a condom. I wanted to know if it could be possible that I could get pregnant just from that one time?

My daughter is 9 years old and she has gotten a wart on the bottom of her foot,and she was having trouble walking, she would limp alittle and then I tried to use some of the over the counter meds ( like freezing it off ) but the again about 2 weeks later 2 more popped up. So I tried to freeze those off. Mean while I have moved out of state and i don't have insurance at this time, so I have been tring to do everything over the counter. So last night she was swimming and i noticed her limping worse so I looked at those spots again, and now there is like about 10 little ones that are popping up.
I am now getting scared that something is really wronge. Can anyone help me!!!!

Ok so theres this guy at my church we are good friends our parents are friends and he is 19 he is cute and very sweet he has never had a girlfriend and I am 14 going to be 15 in Oct. I am 16 and me and my boyfriend decided to have sex. When he went to pull out (with a condom on) the condom came off inside of me. He did not ejaculate inside of me- instead it was all over my leg and some managed to get on my butt. We could not find the condom and discovered it inside of me about 10-15 minutes later. The only way i feel i could have gotten pregnant is from the precum inside the condom. I have been very paranoid and scared. My parents do not know i have sex and i am doing everything not to let them find out. however if i am pregnant i will tell them. it has only been 7 days after having this incident happen. i have irregular periods so they come when they want. ever since the 4th day i have been having cramps like i'm goin to start my period but i read about implantation cramps. i usually cramp for up to a week before i start my period like this. i also have a clear discharge that dries yellow in my pants. other than that nothing has changed. help...am i pregnant

Lately I have been experiencing rather strange breast/chest pain..sometimes there is a weird poking feeling in one of my breasts..and sometimes it gets gradually worse and it bothers me. At one time I experienced such horrid pain that i was not able to get up. At this time the pain was closer to my heart somewhere(I'm not sure of the exact position) but it really gave me a scare because the more I moved, the more it seemed to get worse. It felt like a muscle or something was just getting tighter and tighter, but it hurt. I'm not really sure what to do. During my period, I experience soreness like I have been for many years, but the other problems are starting to worry me. Do you know what it could be? Please help.and thanks for your kindness.

About a year ago, I experimented with phytoestrogens to enlarge my breasts. I used an herbal supplement containing dong quai, saw palmetto, blessed thistle, fenugreek, and fennel for about a month before chickening out. I have been trying to burn off the products by means of starvation, and I don't think I've had much luck. I am 5'6" and weight 138lbs. I'm not "fat" but I don't feel good about myself. I just wish some one could tell me why I care what other people think.
