technically, it's supposed to be called "cosmetic" surgery. The word "plastic" comes from the Greek 'plastikos' meaning to mold or to shape...modern 'plastic surgery' has nothing to do with actual plastic.

alot of times they are inserting a plastic like material into your body to get the look you want
