I just put in my first tampon and it hurts. Is it supposed to hurt this much or did I put it in wrong. Thanks!

Did it hurt putting in or taking out? If it hurts putting in or after it's in, you probably didn't push it in all the way. Take it out and try getting it in farther. Now if it hurts taking out, which always happens to me, there is probably something in the way. Try pushing it back in and pulling out at an angle. Always helps for me! It may take a few tries.

You may have put it in wrong or not in far enough. I am not a fan of tampons, I think they are painful and gross, so I only use them part of the time. And I never sleep in them!

Take it out. They are not supposed to hurt. You probably didn't insert it all the way. Try again. It takes practice.

if it hurts. TAKE IT OUT NOW!

try another one... maybe you are putting it in wrong. Read the box. Your first one should feel weird, not hurt.

again: TAKE IT OUT NOW.
