I had a painful cold sore under my tongue and i tried to kill whatever bacteria is causing it (im not really sure what is causing it) ... so i washed my mouth with Listerene every 3 hours.

Well, after a couple of days, my cold sore is gone but now i feel that the tip of my tongue got burnt. To ease up the pain i stick the tip of my tongue in a cup of ice.

Actually i am posted and cant do workout for the coming 1 month. did it will lose mine muscle or any other side effects of it. should i try some light exercise in my own home or should i leave it for the complete 1 month rest. in the last 2 years i had just given 1 day rest per week. pleaese suggest....

I've been battling depression for years..but kept saying..I'm okay! But the panic attacks are coming daily...several times a day....and with them comes depression and now I feel trapped and alone...where do I turn for some help?! thanks

I tried skipping a period using my birth control, and it worked for the week I wanted it to, but when I woke up this morning I found unexpected bleeding a week and a half after I should have gotten it. I'm not sure if it's the beginning of a period or if it's just breakthrough, but it appears to be more than just spotting. Should I keep taking my birth control pills through this bleeding, or do I stop? Otherwise I'm not sure when I would be expected to start them again. It's such a pain to get an appointment with my doctor, I was hoping someone else had gone through this. Help?

Hey, I am 24 and have been through a few jobs, some i stayed forever even though i hated it and some did like but not enough hours. The problem i have, is I always , always, feel so guilty quitting a job. Its takes me weeks to even get the nerve to give notice, and my family and friends always have to hear me talk about it 24/7. I feel its the only thing that defines me sometimes (my job), because thats all people ask me all the time..so when i quit jobs i feel like a loser even though the job makes me very miserable. For example i worked one job 2 years as a first aid attendent, i got so bored of it, i drove myself into booze and depression, if i would have just quit that wouldnt have happened. I am looking for a job right now again, but trying to be picky so i can actually have fun going to work once in awhile. But i cannot understand the huge guilt trip i get on when i quit a job, anyone else like this? and how can i just forget and move on from old jobs...thanks for any advice

My teacher wanted us to find out more about asthma. After I found out what it really was, I'm really worried it will happen to me. Well, I'm thirteen and never had asthma. Will I still get asthma? My mom told me I had turned blue while I was a baby but was treated. Will there be anymore problems in my health now and in my future?

**I had dark - brownish discharge just before my period..

at first I saw that dark brown discharge (something that I have for the first time), but only 2 hours after I get my period (red blood period)..
What is causing that discharge and It's a sign of something going wrong, or it's normal?

I have just started taking Amnesteem (which is the exact same thing as Accutane, just a different brand) and my face is already starting to dry out. Im 38 weeks almost 39 on Sunday. I have been dilated at 4cm since I was 36 weeks and lost my mucas plug then but the doctor said it could grow back. The past few days it appears that I have been loosing it again and I have these sharp pains across my lower back for short moments at a time could this be contractions? When I went to the doctors on Monday they said that my cervix had dropped which I guess is another step in labor and that was before I started to loose my mucas plug. Also yesterday I had soreness and leakage in my nipples which has never happened. I know my babys coming but does this stuff mean soon cause I dont want to go to the hospital and be sent home again? Also are my back pains contractions?

I had a blood test about 48 hours ago, and was just wondering how long I need to leave the gauze taped over the needle mark for?
A canular was left in the site after the blood test, which was removed about 42 hours ago, if this affects anything.

I have been to the hospital today because i couldnt breath and had to take huge breaths in to feel like i had enough oxygen and i have pains in my lungs. When i got to the hospital i was told it was a panic attack brought on by stress and i had too much oxygen and was hyperventilating. This started happening yesterday and was much worse when i got up. Now the pain is still there but i am breathing fine. I cant believe that i did this to my self. I have always thought that i had took on too much but thought i was coping. I have 3 children, 4 dogs,Lots of other pets too, i have an ebay shop, a website shop, i do avon, all the housework and have just got all of my stuff in to start making my own sexy lingerie to sell. Do you think that is too much to take on in one go and can what do you think about what happened.
Ps i am a very happy person too that is another reason i was so supprised though my mum does suffer from these

Why wouldn't they be accountable and just give me their best guess. if they can spend their whole morning on yahoo they can at least answer my question. not tell me to see a councelor

I grew up in Eastern Europe and when i was 6 the accident at Chenobyl happened, which instantly gave my generation thyroid problems (all of my siblings and all of my aunts have thyroid problems). I have never been the skinny child, but when i came to US at 19 i was 5.1 and 120lbs. Now i weight 140lbs and would love to drop those extra 20. I've been doing everything by the book (or so i think): i don't eat sweets, i don't remember the last time i had a slice of bread of pasta, i'm very dependand on home maid fruit smootheis (no milk, no sugar) and i try to run 30 min. every day but i only lost 3 lbs. Why can't i lose weight? Is the thyroid to be blamed for?

Can you go to a college counselor to talk about your general well-being? I know they usually give advice on the classes to take, and the major you want. I was just wondering if they get people coming in to talk about life and problems.
