I'm 19yrs. old and my doctor just put me on 5mg BuSpar for social anxiety/severe panic attacks(like the dizzy almost fainting kind).I told my doctor that I wanted something I could take right when they happen or when I start to feel stressed because I did not want something that I would have to depend on everyday and would have to be taking for along time to feel the effects. I had mentioned Valium since I know these worked tremendosly for me and I wasn't addicted to them at all since I would only take one about a week. But she suggested trying to BuSpar first. She also said that I could just take the BuSpar when I'm feeling stressed or when the panic attacks start. And that I didn't have to take them everyday all the time just only when needed. What I'm wondering or you could say worrying about is when I researched BuSpar all I found were bad reviews and everyone said that this medication takes at least a week or so to even start doing anything. So any info on this would help. Thanks! :-)

I despise the hair there, but then again i dont wanna shave it, plus it would be very difficult to do so besides. (It's especially irritating in the more inner areas AKA in the crack).

I found out 3 guys I work with use CPAP machines. I never heard of these things before. All 3 of the guys look like Tony Soprano. Let's just say they're not joggers or dieters. Is there a correlation to these machines and weight? Wouldn't weight loss be a better solution?

I ask because my dad says he needs one now, and I think he just needs to be more active and lose weight.

A week and a half ago, my daughter started limping a little bit. By that next morning, he knee was swollen and she was not walking on her right leg at all. We went to the ER where they did X-rays that revealed nothing. They did blood work that had normal white blood counts. We went to an orthopedic doctor last week to request an MRI on her, but he said it was unneccessary and told us to come back in a week. We went back yesterday and her knee is still swollen and she is still limping, if she even walks. She has reverted back to crawling some of the time. The orthopedic doctor re did the X-rays, which still reveal nothing. We had the blood work redone as well, we are waiting to hear back from that. The doctor scheduled a bone scan for her on Friday. My concern is that the doctor does not know what is wrong with her. I don't know why he won't do an MRI just to make sure that there is nothing torn or pulled in her knee. Please give me some advice or help or whatever. :)

I've been to the ER, personal doctor, allergist, and now pulmonary specialist and received god knows how many differend meds for Asthma breathing related problems.

Tests show clear chest, excellent oxygen levels, and pretty much no signs of anything wrong with me.

The doctors look at me puzzled.

Yet I still get asthma symptoms, and sometimes they're enough to make me dizzy.

I don't cough. I don't wheeze. And I do not have mucus.

Yet I have the squeezing, tightness, slight burning pains, and stuffy nose, choking throat sensations that come with the asthma.

I'm not sure what's causing that, and I don't think my doctors know either, since nothing is showing up.

I'm frustrated at this point.

If i'm healthy and fine, why am I still getting ashtma symptoms

What I am doing to lose weight, is simply eat less. But perhaps I should be more cognizant of what I eat. What things should I not be eating, and cut out? Should I do a primarily fruit and veggie diet? Im really just trying to watch the quantity of what I consume more than anything. Any advice would be more than appreciated. Thanks

I'm known to have anxiety/panic symptoms, I'm a worry wart, and I take meds for asthma and other things. I also exercize.

But I'm otherwise healthy.

My blood pressure goes from 91/70, to 137/77 in the same week.

once i had a panic attack and it shot up to 140 ish. the bottom number, im assuminig diastolic has always been fine and never fluctuates much, which I'm assuming is good?

But the systolic fluctuates VERY much all the time. It's never stable.

But that's also because I'm never stable. sometimes I run sometimes I don't, sometimes I'm anxious and freaking out, other times I'm not.

Is it OKAY to have your blood pressure fluctuate at ALL? Or should I be concerned?
Can stress/anxiety/panic/worry affect blood pressure?

If so, is this all dangerous for an otherwise healthy/active male?

Thanks.

My mother had a aorta byfib by a doctor 7 years ago in her left leg. After it was done the doctor told her that it could never be done again. She is having the same symptoms, her leg is warm to the touch, toes a little dicolored. She is really scared, and she does not have any insurance. We were wondering if there is a new procedure that can be out there.
