Do you wear pants that are really tight around the hip area...do you sit for long periods of time??? Tight pants around the hip area can put extra pressure on nerves and blood vessels that can cause pain, discomfort, swelling and even numbness. Sitting for too long can also do this. Plugged arteries or blood vessels that restrict blood flow could also contribute if you eat a high fat diet perhaps. Being overweight can also put added pressure on blood vessels and nerve bundles contributing to this problem. I would try loosing some weight (if overweight), looser clothing (if wearing tight clothes) getting up and walking around every half hour or hour (if sitting for long periods). If the pain is only in one leg it could be a pinched nerve (the sciatic nerve) which is usually accompanied by pain in the leg as far down as the sole of your foot...this could be remiedied by a chiropracter or acupunturist... BUT your best bet is to go talk to your doctor/chiropracter/ and or acupuncturist...they will know best and be able to do tests if need be to make sure you are OK. Good Luck.

Ok this is an unusual question for me but ill do anything to help you... Wear two socks... Yes I know you tried this but my recommendation is buy some warm boots... When wearing gloves outside rub your hands together after a while this will make you warm... Go into a public toilet or your own toilet/bathroom and wash your hands with steaming hot water as much as you can bear it! Same with feet! I have put a website on the source tab and the website sells nice boots (AKA : John Lewis) They have warm yet fashionable boots... Also about falling asleep legs... If I was you no offense but I would like you to go to a gym near you and get some exercise this will help your legs be better to move around (TRY OUT SWIMMING!) I hope I helped you out! -Sophie x

Loss of blood circulation can cause the legs to do that. If you are crossing your knees when you sit, this will happen more often than if you keep your knees only bent while you sit. Be careful how you sit..........and be really careful about those first few steps you take when standing. It is so easy to just tumble over when the legs are not getting enough circulation!

No worries my friend, this is a common occurance. I've experienced this my entire life, has a lot to do with the way your sitting, or lying, it would be helpful to change positions more often.

It is not normal. Search the internet. Try sites like Medmd, Mayo clinic, symptom finder, health diagnostics.

If you sit a lot, it could happen. But otherwise, I would say you do have a cause for concern.
I'm not a doctor, but I do suggest that you get your circulation checked, and get checked for neurological conditions.
Good luck!
