It varies from woman to woman. Some women bleed a lot. Others bleed very little. It has nothing to do with your age. I would suggest seeing a gynecologist for a normal check up before you decide to start having sex. If your hymen is particularly obstructive, some gynecologist can recommend a very quick, easy procedure to "clip" it so you won't bleed as much and it won't hurt as much the first time. It would probably be good to get checked out by a gynecologist if you haven't yet already anyway. Good luck! And remember, if you're not ready to have the possibility of being pregnant, you probably shouldn't be having sex. No method of birth control is 100% effective. Also, if you're not having fun and enjoying sex, then think twice about it as well. Sex should be something special, enjoyable, and fun with your partner! Not something stressful. Use protection. Be safe and enjoy yourself whatever you choice may be.

First, before you have sex with your boyfriend you need to tell him you are a virgin. Open communication is such a huge part of sex, you don't want to start lying right off the bat!
Second, there will be some bleeding and it may be uncomfortable at first, but if you truly love eachother it won't even matter.

loss of virginity and the discomfort and bleeding involved varies from one woman to another. Each of us has a unique experience. Just relax and go with the flow, but use protection.

First of all, TELL YOUR BOYFRIEND!!
Let him know you're a virgin so he can be gentle and understanding about your first time. Don't be embarassed!
My first time, I didn't bleed at all and it didn't hurt. But it depends on the person...

well being truthful should be your first priority. and then the hymen breaking will not always make you bleed. when i was 16 i lost my virginty and i never bleed a drop. all woman are different. your body is its own and you may bleed a lot you may not at all. and make sure your bf understands he will be more appreciative if he knows it all. be truthful with him and yourself!

I would really give it alot of thought before you rush into that with your boyfriend. You really have to ask alot of questions to yourself before you do something that special. You shoud be so proud of yourself to have waited for the right guy. You have alot of self respect, I would really wait until I was married if I were you. If he loves you, he will understand, if not, then you haven't lost much.
