My husband has been complaining of extreme pain when talking on the phone only. He describes it as a sharp pain that goes from his ear through his brain. This started with cell phone use and now it is with the use of any phone (cell or land line). Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I've had an awful experience with kidney stones before...it included intense pain, getting very ill, 3 trips to the ER and eventually, having them surgically removed.

I noticed the other week that my back was hurting a bit. I just thought it was stress or it was feeling tired. But now I'm starting to feel a sharp pain/pressure in my groin area on the left side. This is reeeally similar to how I felt a few months before I developed a kidney stone previously.

What can I do to prevent them from developing again??? I know to drink lots of water, but is there anything else that helps?

I am sickened by my, what I believe to be severly limited brain. I have always been in denial. But even coming out of it can not help me get a normal functioning brain.

So what I want to ask is... I believe social balance is one of the most important factor in peoples life. I don't have it. I am scared, I dont want to be like virgina tech gunman. I say this with complete honesty and I am truly feel for the families that have suffered. I in no way intend to make a joke out of it. I am just scared that I can not live a happy life, without friends. Just today someone told me to "bury my face in the sand and pretend that I am not alive"!! I always feel like this is the way people treat me! I am sickkk of it.OMG help me please!

My father was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2003 and passed away in 2004. His brother who is my uncle also died from lung cancer 6 months after my father died. There is a high chance of me getting it too? My father also has a sister but she's healthy as for now.

i am so losing it!i know i am 22 and in college and studying hard and finals are up in 2 weeks..ne ways i have a younger brother who thinks that i do not study and he is 11 and when my mom told me that i started crying and got upset as well as being tired with 0 or 3 hours of sleep on most nights for the past 2 weeks as well as stress and a lor of problems.i feel that my 11 year old brother sees me as a bad exapmle,that my family and bf are pushing me to get the grades yet making me miserable in the long run.i am sick at the moment,have so much hmwk to do yet if all i see and get out of people is not a good feedback hell i am more miserable because not even my brother cant see me doing something right which makes me think if there is something wrong with me?i mean i am giving so much crap up like going partying or clubbing just to study and i feel that i cannot live up to everyone's expectation of me.my teachers give me a hard time too and i am more and more stressed out.any ideas?

Person was diagnose with OL in the brain. Two tumors, 1 is the size of the gulf ball and the other is the size of the grape.
Two doctor fighting the two procedure. One doctor want Chemo but the other one want Radiation. Patient can't decide so he went home seeking alternative. During the one week on natural remedy, person start to get better. When he was release from the hospital, his condition was very bad with memory lost on and off. Doesn't know who he is or family member or friends. After three days on natural remedy, his memory came back but slowly, he can speak. On day 5 he can answer and write a,b,c,d.. On day 7 his memory return tremdously, he can ask and talk almost normally. On day 8, at midnight he rush to the restroom but tripped and fell. He was healthy. But after two day in the hospital, he become like the first day he was in the hospital. Person ask for proof of scan/xray but doctor lost and urge person to do Radiation. What? Families members was suspicious.

My right leg in disallignment of my right leg in my hip from birth. It hold's itself at a 45 degree angle, making my foot point to the right. After some years, it's put pressure on my left knee to bend to the left to the point that I must now live with alot of pain in the left leg. Pressure in the left knee, broken feeling in the foreleg down to middle of bone and swelling feeling in the ankle and jabbing pain. Let me tell you, its hurts but nothing to be seen on x-rays, all looks very healthy. I was told it was ciotic nerve trouble. When it rains, it's worse. Was put on gabapentin and seems to have no effect. Can anyone help I'm just 34 and feel like I'm 106.

I work on every muscle area twice a week and a have a good break between, I spend about 2 hours everyday. I do Abs everyday between sets, and my goal to be lean and cut, not big! Am I overdoing it? Also I stopped drinking protein, since I got the weight that I wanted.

I have had this for awhile now but im too scared to talk to my mom about it or my aunts or anyone!
I have a small white discharge sometimes that sorta has an oder but not always strong (sometime it is) Also theres a kind of dark purple area inside that area that kinda stretches out. it doesnt hurt to pee or anything but i would really appriciate help!- im 15 and a virgin.
if possible please tell me a sorce of how u know it could help.

has anyone taken or does anyone take the antidepressant pamelor? How was it? I may try it but only a very low dose (i have anxiety along wit some depression and IBS issues). also i tried zoloft and lexapro which made me naseous, vomit, and diarrhea (weak stomach). so I am hoping that this pamelor is different. Any advice or experience will help me! thank you

Ok,before you get the wrong idea I don't smoke myself! I am a male before people start thinking that I'm a teenage girl.

Yesterday (20th April 07) I caught my friend smoking for the first time. She said that she recently started because of all the stress from her AS level studies.(She studies Chemistry,Physics,Maths, ICT and Graphics) I am really really worried about her. She also works at the weekend,but I don't. I thought that she was a lot smarter than this as I see her as a beautiful,smart,hard working girl.(I'm in most of her classes)

I'm stressed as well but I don't resort to smoking cigarettes!

I am also worried that I'm gonna get beat up by her boyfriend.

So what should I do as a friend?

I first got this pain when I was fourteen years old...it was a sudden sharp pain in below my chest in my stomach area, almost felt like it was protruding at times. It has various levels of pain and symptoms, at times it can be so painful that i cry or sweat or shake and can't talk to anyone. I've been nausous from it and i've left places of work because of the pain. It also can be mild, bothersom but yet I can bare it. I figured out that I get it about once a month usually about two weeks before my peirod. But it HAS developed different patterns in some months...like a few times in one week, or not even at all in a month. i have no idea what it is, the doctor thinks im just getting gas. Can Gas hurt this much? Does anyone know?????

The CT scan also showed a 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch tumor in his top left lung. Still waiting for an Oncologist appt. Anyone have any hope for this? Is it cancer or could it be something else, we live in the desert. Thank you for any reply. Also we don't have life or mortgage protection, as it's not yet confirmed is it too late to try to get some?
