You can't restore the nerves and that, but yeah, it does work with enough dedication.
To answer the poster who said that foreskins are gross... that's a common belief of Americans. Most guys in the world (Europe, Latin America, Asia) are uncircumcised. I'm uncircumcised and all it takes is sliding it back and rubbing the head, which takes a few seconds and feels good. I worry more about most other body parts' hygiene. When erect they look almost identical, since the foreskin slides back. Circumcision has been found to reduce sensitivity; sexual pleasure, and increase masturbatory difficulty. Probably that's why in some states the circumcision rate has fallen to as little as 14%. ;)

I'm fortunate enough to have an intact foreskin myself, but it appears from conversations I've had with other guys that restoration does make an improvement in sexual sensitivity. It is a long process -- months or years, not weeks -- and the "restored" foreskin does not fill all the jobs an original foreskin performs, but in general the level of satisfaction of those who persevere is high. They slightly work. They can take years to be effective, and you never fully get the foreskin back (it only covers some of the head). You'd be better off being satisfied with what you have, then with going through the entire process.
