you should have an ultrasound done. i experienced the same thing for alot of years and my dr. also said it was gas. while i was out of state and saw a new dr. they did an ultrasound and found a cyst on my ovary.a large one that i appearantly had for years. i did not think the pain location was near my ovary but it was big enough that i had pain everywhere in my stomache. not to say this is what you have but an ultrasound can rule out or find anything like that.

Trust me it can I have a similar pain also for years, and I don't have periods, :) Maybe my diagnostic applies to you also. According with the Dr. my pylorus as well as my colon are narrower than normal thiscreates almost an hermetic stomach which gets big and pushes other organs. The pain is not in the stomach it only fills like it, but is in the other organ that have been pressure by the size of the stomach. I'm taking some Mexican medicaments that are pretty cheap and efficient. I'm taking them regularly and the pain has decreased vastly. It only comes back when I stop yaking the medicine.

Go see another doctor. You might even try a holistic doctor or a nutritionist. The only thing I can think of is that 2 weeks before your period is around ovulation. Seriously, go see another doctor. Pain that makes you unable to speak isn't gas. Go to a free chilic, Planned Parenthood, or someplace like that if you have to. Planned Parenthood would at least point you in the right direction if they don't have the resources to help you.

Maybe you have Heartburn or it could be an ulsar.Get a second opinoin on your problem. They could be missing something.Demand that they fully check you. Some docs won't but put your foot down and demand that they keep checking cause you are tired of the pain.If they tell you from 1 to 10 ,as 10 being the worsed pain ever how would you rate your pain.Say 10.

First, of course, you should consult a doctor. Second, it depends on what foods you eat and thirdly, it may be you have a gastric sensitivity to some things. Take a look at this: www.blessedherbs.com, and if you haven't seen a doctor yet, when and if you do, take with you a printout of the above and tell him or her you're thinking of doing this after he's given you a diagnosis, alright?

Yes gas can hurt that much. But it could also be a hiatial hernia or a gallbladder attack. Have they checked and ruled out those possibilities? Try keeping a food diary and see if there may be certain foods that aggravate the problem.

Go to another doctor for a second opinion and for tests.
The pain could be from anything. It could be an ulcer or your gallbladder or something worse.
Go to another doctor to be checked and have tests. It could be something serious and your present doctor is not doing his/her job to find out what the problem is.
