If you have 4 people in the same house and they all have the same cold at the SAME TIME, is it just going to run its course and be gone or could we keep passing it back and forth, since we live in the same household and are always around each other.

It will run its course and be gone. If your immune system is the usual type of immune system you will develop antibodies to that particular virus and are not likely to get reinfected with it.

HOWEVER, you can get a relapse of the same viral illness if you are not resting and looking after yourself adequately.

Most likely, it will run it's course and be gone. To reduce the possibility of passing a potential mutant strain around, you should all wash your hands frequently.

If you all get it at the same time, it is probably the same virus and you will develop antibodies to it. This will protect against reinfection for some time.

it really depends if the virus mutates because your immune system will be resilient against the previous form but not the mutated version
