My jaw is popping and sometimes it even locks and i have to force my jaw to open and then it will make a huge pop. i cant even chew without it popping. has anyone had this problem? please help...i already made an appointment with my dentist but i cant wait another 5 days for the appt.

I have a runny stuffed up nose, sore throat, headache, itchy ears, etc. What can I do for itchy ears?? I've never had that before and it's so annoying. What can I do for my cold besides medicine?? I took tylonal already. Any home remedies or anything??

I'm currently taking Darvocet and each pill has 650mg of acetaminophen in it. I was told to take up to 3 per day, but that seems like a lot to me. Also, does anyone know anything about the other ingredient in Darvocet? I know it's sort of like codiene, but how so?

This mole started very tiny. Very very tiny. The same color as my skin, it was a little raised, not much, and i shaved my armpit a few days ago and I think I snipped it. Now it is bright red and it hurts really bad if I even close my arm. It is starting to get long and skinny and has lots of weird folds in it like a lobsters claw. It's really hurting me. I have no insurance so I can't just go to the dr for a check up. Is this something serious? How serious? What should I do now?

I have already had a consultation for a reduction and the plastic surgeon is submitting my paperwork to my insurance, she said to expect it to take from 4-6 weeks before we hear anything from them. I am scared but at the same time very happy that I am finally able to get this procedure done. My only concern is : Will my insurance approve it and pay for it? Have you heard of any reasons why they won't?

Ok, first I do have a doc's appointment tomorrow.

I have been having pain in my stomach for over a week. This is now my 3rd day of not being able to eat. I can't keep anything down, not even soup. I don't have a fever or any other symptom . . .other than my stomach is hurting/burning. Last night when I went to bed my stomach was itching. . .weird. I have a feeling of fulness even though I have not ate and my stomach feels a bit swollen.

I have been worried about an ulcer or something of that nature. Any ideas or has anyone expereinced anything similar?

I noticed that many salad dressings contain high frutcose corn syrup as the second ingredient.

However, this is not true on all of them. For instance many ranch dressings do not have this.

Reiki for a torn ligament?
My beagle mix has a torn miniscus. The vet wants to have him go in for a second surgery. (last time he opened his leg up and just tightened it) he said he tore it after surgery. Does anyone know about any holistic alteritives? I've read about Reiki but i dont know if that would help. Any help would be nice!

When I was about ten years old, I kept getting tonsillitis, and I had to go into the hospital to have them taken out . When my niece was a little girl, she kept getting tonsillitis, but her doctor wasn't in any hurry to take them out . Now I've learned that doctors try "wait and see" with tonsils instead of taking them out right away . Is this safe ? I know that tonsillitis is caused by badly infected tonsils, and carrying badly infected tonsils around in your throat can't be safe . What's wrong with a good old -- fashioned tonsillectomy ?

I am 20 years old and have a very long labia. It is so embarassing, It is long and can be seen through underwear/bathing suit bottoms. I am a virgin and do have a boyfriend. Everytime he goes to touch me in that area (with jeans on) I move his hand bc I am so self concious. I am afraid that when I do decide to sleep with him, he is going to be so turned off. This morning I was lying in bed, half asleep, then all of a sudden my body felt paralyzed and I thought I was being electrocuted. I had a full body shake and I could not stop myself. All I could do is let out a scream. It did not hurt, but felt as though I was having a "seizure". I am on Effexor XR and I have heard of brain shivers, is this one of those? It has happened before, can anyone give me any idea about what it could be?

I dont know what to think. The last period I had was on Feb. 17th and I have not had another since then. I have had bands put on my tubes 6 years ago and I should not be able to get pregnant. I have had a couple of symptoms like, dizziness, nausea, and I could sleep all the time if I was able to. If there are any doctors or nurses out there that could let me know what is going on with me, I would gladly appreciate it.
P.S. I am going to wait one more week to see if I start this month.

I am a 35 year old female who exercises regularly. Six days ago I spend the whole day (a few days actually) painting and building a patio (my body is accustomed to hard work though). I have seasonal allergies. It was windy and my allergies were definately stirred up. I didn't stop for lunch that day and by that evening my body was achie and I had a headache. I simply thought I worked hard and needed some rest and food. I ate a good dinner, took some ibuprophen and went to bed. If I'm on ibuprophen I'm ok. As soon as the ibprophen wears off the aches return. It has been 6 days now. ( I do have a slight thightness in my chest. When I take a deep breath it makes me cough slightly) Can anyone tell me what this might be?
