Ok, first I do have a doc's appointment tomorrow.

I have been having pain in my stomach for over a week. This is now my 3rd day of not being able to eat. I can't keep anything down, not even soup. I don't have a fever or any other symptom . . .other than my stomach is hurting/burning. Last night when I went to bed my stomach was itching. . .weird. I have a feeling of fulness even though I have not ate and my stomach feels a bit swollen.

I have been worried about an ulcer or something of that nature. Any ideas or has anyone expereinced anything similar?

no, I am not pregnant.

I have not been running a fever or any other symptoms. . .it is all my stomach. I thought about going to the ER Monday night because it was bothering me so bad. I call and get a doc's appointment and they set it for Thursday.

There are many things that can cause the problems you describe like ulcers, bacterial infections, viral infections, gall bladder problems, appendix problems, reflux...anyhow. The bottom line is you can't keep anything down and you have abdominal pain and this has been going on for several days.

Even if your only problem was not being able to keep anything down for longer than 24 hours, you should still see a doctor. That fact that you have more than one symptoms for so many days more than warrants a visit to the doctor.

I would even tell you right now that you need to see a doctor within the next 24 hours, and if your stomach pain gets worse before the 24 hours pass you should go to an emergency room.

The only one who can tell you for sure is a doctor-after running some tests. Could be a lot of things from minor to serious. My prayers are with you. God bless you.

my guess would be the liver. have the doctor run a liver panel test, but remember to tell your doctor that not always will diseases that affect the liver (like hepatitis c) increase your alt and ast levels.

if it's your gallbladder, sometimes this is the first sign of liver disease as well.

i would seek the advice of a doctor.
