these are skin tags and yes they hurt a lot.
For now get someone you know to tie a string around it very tightly and it will fall off in about 2 weeks.
PLEASE see a doctor. These can be caused from a variety of things and some a precursor to cancer. You really need to get checked out and see what type yours are.

Well, you need to remove it now it would seem. Otherwise you risk infection. Either use 1 of 2 options. Get ambesol, or other tooth medications that numb your mouth. You would be AMAZED at how well they work as an anesthesia for removing annoying things like a mole that you have. Either use that or get an ice cube and hold it over the mole until it either becomes so uncomfortable you need to remove it or it melts almost all the way down. Then, you'll be able to pull the mole off the surface of your skin and snip it off with scissors (sterilized with flame of course then cooled). Make sure the scissors are very sharp and of high quality. After snip, snip, you may need to use a needle and pharmaceutical grade stitch thread to seal the wound with maybe 2 stitches. You can get all mats at most drug stores and the pain is very miniscule. Remember, you are saving a lot of money on a very costly (otherwise) procedure so don't shwagg out on the materials.

I think you nicked either a small mole or maybe a pimple that was caused by a hair growing back into the skin instead of out so that it could be cut off. The elongated redness, to me, suggests that you are irritating it more by putting on deodorants and it is trying to become infected. I strongly suggest that you see a doctor, but if you can't afford one then at least apply some antibiotic. Neosporin(sp) with pain relief and it's available in most drug stores, grocery stores, Walmart and the pain relief really works well. Put a bandage on it if you can; if one will not stay on, use some gauze and duct tape (don't laugh, duct tape holds every thing). Janet

My best advice to you is to go to a skin Dr and have this checked out to be on the safe side. If you explain to the Dr. Office that you do not have health insurance they should work with you on a payment plan. Your mole is in a awkward place and you said that it is growing. I am not saying that it is serious but I am not a doctor, but it is better to be safe than sorry

With out seeing a picture, it is hard to give you a reason for this. If a dark mole is changing shape, that is not good. You need to find a way to see a Dr. Do you have a job? Do they offer health insurance? Blue Cross has so low cost plans that you might be able to enroll in.

First, I think you should try to find a dermatologist. I know you said you don't have insurance, but call around to different doctors and see if they can offer you a reasonable rate or sliding fee scale. I don't think it is as serious as it is uncomfortable, and it may be reacting to the injury you caused it, it sound inflamed. It needs to be shaved flush and cared for properly. You don't need an infection. In the meantime, put warm compresses on it and dab with Neosporin.

Maybe you just irritated by touching it with the shaver. but if you think it raised before you touched it,then you should see a doctor. I understand you don't have insurance, There clinics you can go to and just pay up front. I don't know how much exactly. I think it might be $50-100. Don't touch it for a about 2weeks and see how it goes. Good luck. I hope it gets better.

I would guess the reason it does hurt is because you cut it...but it sounds like something that would need to be checked out by a dermatologist to rule out any type of skin cancer. Better safe than sorry! If you can't get in there, look for your local county health department to get it checked out, generally they can offer you a cheaper office visit.
