recently ive had a ton of zits!!! does toothpaste work? how much do you put on, just a dab? i dont have any white toothpaste, only the pink gel with breath strips. how long to you keep the toothpaste in?

I read recently that although it is my favorite antiseptic (yes, I have a "favorite" antiseptic...), hydrogen peroxide is actually not as effective at killing bacteria as I thought. What I liked about it was the little hiss and bubbling that you'd see...you KNEW it was working...guess I got fooled.

So I started looking at: what's the best...the type of OTC antiseptic that was like the Spartan Army holding back the Persian hordes (sorry, just saw "300"). The ones I saw were:

-70% isopropyl
-91% isopropyl
-iodine
-tincture of iodine (it seems there's a difference)
-ethyl alcohol
-witch hazel
-something else?

I know my hydrogen p. is out of the running from what I read (sniff!).

Anyone knowledgeable know (we can skip the "wow, they all hurt like the dickens" answers)? From what little I could find on the web, it looks like ethyl alcohol, but I'd love someone to school me! Thanks!

ok this sounds weird but i get this tickleish pain feeling in certin parts of my body i dont have shingles as i am not old and have never had chicken pox can anyone tell me why i am feeling this and what i can do to stop it the pain is usaily in my neck and happens all the time

plus I am having nausea and dizziness real bad and also very tired.I just feel like you know what.I will be 40 in a couple of weeks what a birthday I am going to have.Plus my pap smear came back bad have to get a colosposy plus I got 2 fibroids in the uterus and the lining of the uterus is thicken any help would be nice to ease my mind now I got a head-ache i am worrying so much an that be making me feel bad.ok thanks for your tie and any answers.Love Tammy

im 20, i dont drink nor smoke.i dont take large doses of caffenie throughout the day or night. i have a nice size comfortable bed. i cant sleep at night at all no matter how tired i am. i have work in the morning at 5:00 and i will not sleep once. during the day i feel very weak and tired, i have bags under my eyes and i look like im on drugs. should i see someone or shuld i buy over the counter drugs/meds??? any help would be appreciated

I got my cartilage piercing almost a year ago now. when i first got it i kept it very clean, constantly washing it with (unscented) bacterial soap, and i saw no problems. after about a few months i had noticed a bump on the back part of my ear and i was told by the piercer to just flip the earring up at night and keep cleaning it and it will go away. after a week or so it indeed did but then i got a bump on the front, i did the same thing it went away. this went on for a while coming and going and i thought nothing of it really. then it stopped happening, no bumps on either side until recently. i now have a more enlarged bump that looks like its filled with blood thats about half the size of a small gumball. its just significantly larger than the other bumps and sore. If any one could help with a solution to make it go away or what exactly is wrong with it please let me know. i had planned to go to the doctor but i called the place that i received it and was told to do same as before.

hi i'm 16 years old and have been taking Lamisil for almost a week now for onychomycosis on my two big toes. I wanted to know if it truly does work since I was really self concious about my condition for a while until I finally did see a doctor a little while ago. I mean, it definately isn't as bad as the pics you see on the internet about toenail infections but I just wanted to get your opinion thanks :)

i am 15 years old.. and i have very oily skin, especially on my face.. what can i do to stop my skin from getting oily or how can i slow it down. its annoying bcuz i dont want girls or ANYONE to touch my face, pinch my cheeks or anything bcuz their fingers will get oily. is there any household ingredients i can use every Day and night to help stop Oil build up on face?

Currently, I am 18 years old and 5'4 male. I checked with my doctor and he says I am about to end my growth (xray. had deep voice since 13 and shaved since 16). I cannot accept this height. I do not know of a day where i have not been harassed and personally i am getting fed up with it. At first it was ok for the jokes but now it's ticking me off too far. I even tell people to stop and ignoring wont work. I don't care if people say that I should live with it because I won't. I will use leg lengthening surgery if I need to. I do suffer short man syndrome because people constantly harass me. I don't try to cover anything up tho. Don't say anything about the small celebrities because they are only the few. I even get made fun of by my own god damn family...

Is it a sign of nutrition deficiency? Is it because I eat too much fried food (Popeye's)?

I don't suppose I'm dirty because I shower frequently.

The rashes are not all over my body. They are just some on my arms and legs and I have no idea why.

Please help me figure it out, and also recommend me some skin products to get rid of them.

So I overthink things waaaaay to much. I sit down and spave out and think about everything. What Ill be doing the next day, what Ill be doing three weeks from now, what Ill watch on tv the next day, who I'm going to talk with tomorrow. I mean I sometimes even go over possible conversations in my head with people I'm going to talk with?! Its never really bothered me all that much actually, but lately it has. See this girl I like I asked out and she kinda shut me down. I was told by everyone who knows me that I just overthink things waaay to much, and I just need to start going with the flow. I just wish I could... I just cant help... thinking lol about everything. Once I thought sooo much I felt my head would explode, so in about 15 minutes I sat down and typed out 2 pages in 12 point font just about me, things going on around me. What I plan on doing everything! I want to stop it. I don't want to be the guy whos 25 and never has had a girlfriend because he overthinks things too much.

I like to lift weights around 1 PM because that is when my energy level is the highest and I can lift the most. I also heard that you get more from your workout if you lift weigts when your energy level is the highest. Is this true? What if I lift weights at around 6 PM. Will I still see as much results? What's the deal?

I'm pregnant, and have been dealing with in grown toe nails this past year due to nail fugus (I groom dogs and am always wet in my shoes!!!). I have been able to lift nail out and cut it every few weeks successfully, but the time before this, I got an infection in my right toe and was able to heal it at home by soaking and drawing out infection/pus. This time, it is on my other toe and it is continuing to swell. I can not get the pus to drain out, I've been soaking it and puting on triple antibiotics. I am nervous to go to doctor because due to pregnancy, is it ok for them to numb it? i would like to just have portion or all of nail removed before infection spreads. Should I be calling into work tomorrow, and following days -- will it worsen as I stand on it?
