I dont know who gave the girl above the information to put a hot needle to a blemish but please dont do that.
Make sure to always wash your make up off every night.. you can use toothpaste but only white toothpaste.
It does not make the pimple go away it just takes the redness out. Your best bet is to get some zit cream. And dont pop it until it comes to a head!

Dont do it! I did this about a month ago and I ended up with a huge red burn on my nose as well as a big chunk missing from where the zit was. The toothpaste burns your skin and may force a zit that isnt ready to pop to pop, leaving a huge hole where the pus used to be. If you must get rid of your zits, apply a warm washcloth to the zit for a couple minutes to draw the pus up, then sterilize a needle(hold it in the flame of a lighter for a few seconds)and poke a small hole in the center of the zit. Then lightly apply pressure to the sides of the zit(dont squeeze it, that will drive the bacteria down further giving you a worse blemish)until all the pus comes out. Then wipe it with a cool cloth. I dont reccoment doing this reight before you go out as it leaves a nasty red mark for about a hour. However, trust me once the hours over your zit will look MUCH better. I recommend you leave them be though, as popping them can leave scars.

Only overnight, and the white paste is better. It works because it has Menthol in it, an Essential Oil. Menthol cools the skin and lessens the redness and is antibacterial. I prefer to use Tea Tree Oil for pimples, it has good antibacterial properties and you can also find it at you local drug store, 10$ Canadian, but the bottle will last a long time. I usually find it close to the Epsom salts. 1 or 2 drops will do for your whole face. Hope that helps.

I've used toothpaste to fill nail holes in drywall (dries like spackle)... can't see where that would help your skin really. Try a good astringent before bedtime after you wash with regular soap.

Yeah - it has to be the white paste kind. I don't know why. Put a pea size amount on the affected area and then sleep with it on....wash it off in the morning.
