hi i'm 16 years old and have been taking Lamisil for almost a week now for onychomycosis on my two big toes. I wanted to know if it truly does work since I was really self concious about my condition for a while until I finally did see a doctor a little while ago. I mean, it definately isn't as bad as the pics you see on the internet about toenail infections but I just wanted to get your opinion thanks :)

Yes, it works very well. You have to take the pills for 2-3 months if I remember right, Anyways, you have to wait for a healthy new toenail to grow to replace your fungus one. But, I tell you, you will get the nicest feet, because it gets rid of all atheletes foot too and all itching.

Yes, with time it works. I'm a nursing student and I could see a difference in my pt. within 1 week. Just keep applying it per your dr. orders and it will eventually go away. Also, when you apply a new dose make sure you wash the old off first.
