My daughter who is 7 years old has a persistant cough.
We took her to the doctors within a few days. Doctor said everything seemed fine and to give her Tixilix childrens cough medicine at bed time and calpol ( childrens paracetemol )if she needed it .
A week passed and she was still coughing.
I took her back to see the doctor who said it wasnt a cold or infection and she might be asthmatic. We were given a Ventolin Evohaler and told to give it to her at least 3 times a day.
After almost 2 weeks on the inhaler her cough only improved a little after taking the inhaler but she would still continue to cough all day and sometimes in the middle of the night.
I took her again back to the doctor who suggested she may have an inner ear infection. He gave her antibiotics 5 day course and told us to continue with the inhaler and the tixilix and calpol.
She has now finished her antibiotics and this cough just isnt going.
She was coughing so much last night and was sick.
What do you suggest

I'm so tired of everything lately - the stress, my work, bills, college classes, housecleaning, etc. All I ever have time to do is work. I can't find any enjoyment in life anymore. Lately, while I'm driving home from work, I have very powerful urges to drive off the road or into a jersey wall or something.

I know I'm most likely suffering from depression. Many years ago, I was on Zoloft for depression for about 6 months. But this bout with it seems worse. And the side effects from the medicine were just awful then.

Has anyone had any positive results from other medications? If so, which ones?

Are there any other natural remedies to help cure this?

I'm just so sad and tired.

Hi i am a 43 yr old and i suffer with arthritis severly, i have taken aleve , or tylenol, ibprofen,does any one else know what i could get that just might help me im to the point i dont know what to do for it and im in pain contantly, ive even try natural things that i was told would work and well they are lucky then cause it did nothing for me not at all.plz HELP.....ty

i think my boyfriend might have alcohol poisoning. he's 6'3" about 180 lbs and he had about 10 shots of vodka maybe more. he's been throwing up for the past 4 hours. he's now throwing up brown stuff and i have no idea what that could be so if anyone knows please tell me. i dont know what to do to help him. im not sure if it is alcohol poisoning or just a hangover...
also he never drinks so the alcohol has affected him alot. he isnt passed out or anything just throwing up. he doesnt have any food on his stomach either....
ive tried to get him to drink some water and he absolutely will not listen to me. someone please tell me what to do.

i'm 5'5" and about 100 pounds or a little under, and if i look that up on a bmi calculator then it says that i'm underweight, but the thing is is that i still want to lose weight even though i know i'm not fat or anything but i really want to be skinnier anyway. and i try to not eat, and a lot of times i skip meals and don't eat anything from when i get up until after school or even close to dinner time, and i have lost weight since i've been doing that, but not as much as i want to. but the thing is i want to stop eating entirely except that then i can't do it for the whole day, so i always end up eating something.

After having an MRI, my doctor told me that my spinal column is shrinking. My symptoms are: a burning and tingling sensation in my neck and down my right arm,severe muscle wasting in both of these areas, sometimes when I turn my head I get a sharp pain in my neck, I can hear a grinding sound in my neck when I move it, my right arm will go numb during the day and sometimes when I wake up in the morning my entire scalp and both of my arms are completely numb from my shoulders to my hands. I'm forty two years old and was wanting to know if you have ever heard of this or anything like it ? Thanks.

so like its kinda weird.
i feel like i have a stomache, but than again my stomach feels fine.
i feel really tired, but at the same time i feel wide awake.
i feel really weak, but strong at the same time.

i just feel really weird.
i KNOW something is wrong with me, i just dont know what it is, and i cant really explain it. i feel really uncomfortable.

i know that it isnt a flu or cold.
i have never felt this way before...

This is not really an acne remedy question; my acne is clearing up. I have a few acne scabs that are really really slow about going away, and they are so hard to cover with makeup. I just want to get rid of them so I can finally have my clear face that I've fought so hard to get. I'm using an ice bag on them right now to reduce the redness. Any suggestions? Please don't say toothpaste.

i am taking a course of Paludrine & Avlocar malaraia tablets as i went to india for a holiday.

you take 2 per day and 4 (2 big, 2 little) on a saturday. friday i forgot to take the 2...so saturday morning i took them and then took the 4 i was supposed to - later on during saturday.

last night (saturday) - the side of my neck/face & ear became really swollen and i panicked like crazy...it has gone down a little this morning..but i am worried. could this be a side effect of the tablets..and should i stop taking them now...got one week of a 6 week course to go. any advice or comments would really be appreciated. thank you very much.
