I heard that after a few days if your body doesnt have a lot of carbs, your body starts to get rid of the fat. Something like that. Why is it that a low carb diet help you lose weight fast? I also heard in the news that the low carb diet is the most successful diet people get on.

so now i have this red rash-like thing on both my shins (just on my shins, and not on the back of my legs) and theres some deeper scratches from where i scratched my skin and then theres some red bumps. i try not to stratch them but apparently i scratch them in my sleep. =S i put cream on them but that doesnt really relieve the itch and i cant help but stratch all day!! whats up with my legs and what can i get to relieve the itch and the redness and the scratches from my fingernails? its driving me CRAZYYYY

Maximum Hear Rate
I go to the gym and do the elliptical for 40 mins it tells me my Hear Rate is around 178-182 but when I do the speedwalking treadmill at around 3.7 speed, my heart rate goes down to about 157 and stays like that for the 20 mins that Im on it. Are these two good, or am I just wasting time in the treadmill i need opinions please?

morning- bowl of tomato with a lot od veggie soup like 3/4 a cup(really gets me full!)
with 2 crackers for soup dip
An apple
AND a nice glass of milk!!
snack- Apple during school

Lunch- didn't have time for it :( but... i did eat my afternoon snack during lunch which was 2 celeries,5 baby carrots and a little milk from nasty school lunch but the milk was good.

snack- clelery chopped and melted over with a little bit of light cheese

should i eat more?? or no?? because i don't know.

how much pain is involved? what are the long term risks? any negatives to the surgery?

my orthodontist told me that the ideal treatment for my underbite is jaw surgery, but that I can choose to have 2 of my permanent pre-molars pulled out so he can shift my bottom teeth behind my top.....is this a good way to go?
what's better? losing 2 permanent teeth or going through jaw surgery?

i'm scared of jaw surgery but i also don't want to lose real teeth....what to do....

Iinjured my collar bone from mountain biking. It was about 2 months ago. Ever since I have been wearing a support -type cast. I am disturbed. It has not healed completely yet and I am desperate to exercise again. Does anyone know if this injury is permanet?

Okay, I was eating a cookie and I felt something weird in my braces or sumthing and I thought nothing of it. But then I put my finger back there and on the VEEERY back bracet the wire is not in it's place. I can't get it back in and I tried really hard. Should I go back to the Ortho like quick? Or can it wait till my next appoitment on April 4???

So i had sex with my boyfriend in jan. and everything was normal than in feb we had sex again and a few days after that i started bleeding. i thought it was my period but lasted the entire month of feb on and off.....heavy and light....really weird considering i usually don't get a period and if i do it's usually short.....anyways i stopped bleeding like 10 days ago and soo me and my boyfriend were getting ready to have sex when i felt wet on my butt.....i have no idea why but i was bleeding heavily!!! soo then juss 3 days ago the spotting had stopped and i thought it was done.....then last night me and my boyfriend had sex and in tha middle of it we saw there was blood everywhere and it was super gross.....sooo then today i wake up and nothing!! no blood or spotting!!!! someone help me I'm soo confused!!! im going to the dr but i thought i would ask you guys!!! Thanks :)

I am currently seeing a counsellor at uni. I find her great and I wish it was long term support but is it just me or does anyone else find that they get very nervous on the day they are supposed to go and always feel like cancelling, even though they know it's not that bad? Just wondering..any thoughts?
