My son has been suffering from panic attacks now for a good two years. And after one happens he obviously becomes depressed from it. And me and my husband have tried nearly everything we can with him. We took him to therapist and such which makes me feel horrible already, but we also asked him to take medication, which he is really against. The worst part is, he had a difficult time coming to me when he has one. Now at 16 he does not come to me at all, and I feel horrible that I can't help, and asked myself constantly if it is my fault.
I am really just looking for a way to confront him on this, and comfort him during/after an attack.. And really try something that might help more then I have been trying, because his health and mental health means more to me than anything. Any advice will help.
thank you (:
