when i dont go out or do something during the day, i just feel down right sad. i always get nostalgic too. i used to be constantly stressed and upset and i just thought that was because i had ADD and bad grades but now im doing a lot better in school and i still feel sad. i used to always be excited to hang out with friends and make plans but now i never make plans, none of my friends make plans with me, and even i just can never think of what to do with friends because nothing appeals to me like it used to. i still always seem to look happy and i always act like im happy, and i feel like im happy, when im with my friends but then when im alone im just not. i never get excited for things anymore, i want to be but im just not. nothing has happened to me that has made me this way, so i just cant find any explanation to why im always so sad. ive also had weird changes in appetite. im always hungry but no food ever appeals to me. i just dont know what it is or what i should do about it.

I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia a month ago. I am 23 years old. I thought I was having some horrible back problems; couldn't sleep or even stand for just a few minutes without feeling like I was going to die from the pain. I am chronically tired all the time, no matter how much sleep I get, and feel nauseous frequently. Also, I don't know if this is a factor, but I used to be 155 lbs, and am down now to about 130 (I'm 5'7"). Can you give me any advice as to how to deal or cope with this disease? Thanks!

ok im 23 weeks preg. and recently ive been feeling really funny like i will pig out and then half an hour later i get so hungry that i start to shake, i cant focus, and i feel like i could faint but once i get more food in me im fine is it gestational diabetes? or something else? or is it normal? i go to the dr on monday but i thought i would get some insight from someone who mightve been there or is having this same problem

My cousin has spent the last few months (don't know exactly how long) eating only a package of Pop-Tarts for breakfast every morning. He claims that he has lost a good amount of weight by doing this. Is there such thing as a Pop-tarts diet or can his wieght-loss be attributied elsewhere? This man is about 30, and wieghs about 183 pounds, according to him this past Saturday. (Though, after that large piece of cake his sister gave him that day, he probably wieghs a good pound more now. We're talking a good two-to-three servings of cake he ate.)

I asked for opinions/answers a few days ago about my cervical cyst,and I have a pre-op appointment scheduled next month to have it removed. (Thank you to everyone who answered.)There is one thing that has also been happening since the cyst became and I'm not sure if it is related.This might sound strange,but inside my vagina gets very swollen.Not all the time,or very often,but when it does,it's almost swollen shut and painful.(The only way I can describe it is as if something is stuck,like a tampon,combined with the irritation after alot of sexual intercourse.) I do self-checks in the shower and a lot of times I can't even "get in" to check it. I do not mean to sound gross or perverted,I just want to know what this could be?I have noticed it also swells A LOT during intercourse.After 3-4 mins we have to stop because it's too tight, and painful for him.I know it's normal to slightly swell during intercourse,but not as much as this. Does anyone have any clue to why this is happening?

My 13 month old has the beginning of pink eye. His doctor prescribed him eye drops but its not easy getting them in his eyes and he cries and cries so all the drops get cryed out. I don't like putting them in his eyes anyway... his doctors also said something about warm water rinse, how do I do that? Any tips on how to get him to keep his eyes open?

My dad has been coughing very much lately. I can hear him coughing now. He has asthma and smokes. He has given up and smoked again and given up for a few years now. He has quit smoking for a month now due to his coughing. He seems to be lacking the motivation to actually quit it for the long run. My dad is 60+. It hurts me to see how he harms is body everyday.
However, some immediate advice needed. What do you suggest for coughing? When he coughs, he does have mucus. Therefore, It is not dry. What are some drinks you suggest for coughin? Like tea or something? Any home-care? He has been drinking many types of coughing syrups, but all seem helpless. What can a daughter do for his dad?

PS. Great, my dad is angry at me, cos i worked late these days. If anything could go any worse. My mother is not around now; she be back next week. Please pray for me and my family.
