My dad has been coughing very much lately. I can hear him coughing now. He has asthma and smokes. He has given up and smoked again and given up for a few years now. He has quit smoking for a month now due to his coughing. He seems to be lacking the motivation to actually quit it for the long run. My dad is 60+. It hurts me to see how he harms is body everyday.
However, some immediate advice needed. What do you suggest for coughing? When he coughs, he does have mucus. Therefore, It is not dry. What are some drinks you suggest for coughin? Like tea or something? Any home-care? He has been drinking many types of coughing syrups, but all seem helpless. What can a daughter do for his dad?

PS. Great, my dad is angry at me, cos i worked late these days. If anything could go any worse. My mother is not around now; she be back next week. Please pray for me and my family.

i have gotten rid of a few varieties over time, but they either come back, or come back with a slightly different name. Are they BAD bad, or just annoying? any help, and I'll wash your car. I hurt my wrist and hand by landing wrong from a bad fall and now my wrist and hand have soft tissue damage. It can be pretty painful waiting for it to heal but I can handle it. I'm in my early 20's and I don't think it should take long to heal but I want to help it along. Are there any exercises I can do to help speed my recovery? If you are a health professional, please add that in your answer.

Okay, normally I have no problem eating healthly unless it involves someone else. See, my dad bought pizza for dinner and I would feel bad if I didn't eat anything. So I had once slice and a breadstick. That's it....well, with some water. More specifically, it was 1 slice large pizza hut plain crust cheese pizza. I'm just wondering if this result in a gain of excess weight if this is all I have for dinner?


I probably consumed about 600 to 700 prior to dinner.

i was recently diagnosed with anxiety attacks. they are very scary. anyway doc prescribed atenolol but i was higher than a kite all day the next day. i am a working mother and wife. i can't take stuff that makes me feel like that. anyone else have the same prob with the med and also i need ideas on how to deal with these. will they last the rest of my life or can they eventually go away? i was also told to try to locate my triggers. it would seem they would happen when i'm stressed but actually they happen when i am driving down the road or relaxing at home--basically when i am least stressed. why is this? only serious answers plz. thank u
