I was curious to know what is the average resting heartbeat of a 7 year old boy. Is 100 too high?

jocajura - Heart rates are higher in younger children than they are in adults. So while a normal resting heart rate in an adult is considered to be 50 or 60 to 100, the normal resting heart rate for a 7 year old is about 60 to 130. 100 is well within what we consider to be normal. Hope that helps!

I don't think you should worry about it.

"The results indicate that this hypothesis should be accepted because both the boys’ and the girls’ combined pulse rates rose from 103.9 at rest to 152.8 while exercising. "
