so about 2 hours ago, i hit my head on the microwave (don't ask). i've iced it on and off for about 30 min. right now, its kind of red and a little swollen. what can i do to make sure i don't wake up with it being a huge, purple bump?

Continue with the ice, but do NOT use heat. Heat expands. Take Ibuprofen or some other anti inflammatory. That should help keep the swelling down. I'd ice it every hour for fifteen minutes. You probably will have a bump tomorrow. Make sure you get your rest and take more ibuprofen if needed later.

Reducing weight is not easy thing it is difficult at your stage. i am utkarsh 16 years old boy. My height is 6 feet and my weight 70 i am little fat but don't look two months ago i was 80 kgs. i lose my 10 kgs in last two months by simply doing rope skipping only for 10 minutes a day. u can reduce your in about 8 or 9 months. good luck after a year wou'll look sexy and gorgeous good luck. and some ideas more to you 1. Avoid Slimming pills as available in the market. Those medicines are not the permanent solution. 2. Avoid junk foods, sweets, pastrys, ice creams and processed food items. 3. Intake of sugar and salt to be minimized. 4. Fruits, vegetables and grains intake to be preferred towards everyday food as it contain fibre, which helps in internal purification and destroys toxins from the body. 5. Drink plenty of water.

Ice wrapped in a towel. Rubber band to hold it together and put it on the spot.

Keep up with the ice. Take some tylenol or something for any pain.
I hope you are OK. Don't get sleepy.

iced it for 10-15 mins. every hour interval. Thats all you can do for now, or if you have any anti inflammatory meds ,that will help too.

believe it or not if you can get a medical leech--one that is clean of all diseases. You put the leech ont he area where it is red and swollen and the leech removes the excess blood from under the skin.
