I am currently using a INSULIN PUMP but i am planing on changing to a INSULIN PEN but i wanted to know if when injecting insulin with a INSULIN PEN does it hurt?... I also wanted to know where can the pen be injected? (ex: arm, leg, etc..)

I'm 15, a high schooler. 5'6 and 130 lbs. It's in the healthy weight range and I can run an 8-minute mile, but I always feel overweight and out of shape.

My problem is that I can't stop eating. I love sugar and sweet things, and hardly ever turn down food. At lunch, whether I eat the school's or bring my own, I never feel like I've had enough and beg more off my friends or eat the leftovers. At home, while doing homework or whatever, I constantly need something to munch on. Chewing gum helps in a major way, but it's expensive enough that my mom gets annoyed when I ask her to buy about a pack a week. What can I do?

A few weeks ago, I begain lifting weights again and getting back in shape after taking a break to recover from an injury. After just a couple of weeks I noticed that my body seems firmer, my strength is coming back very quickly, and my clothes are loose. I was very surprised to see that I have actually gained about 5 pounds! I know that muscle is dense, and because I'm lifting moderate-heavy weights for my size (squat press between 275 - 300lbs, pull-down 100lbs) I expected to gain a little bit of muscle weight gradually over time, but it surprised me to have gained 5 pounds in 2 weeks....especially since I'm looking slimmer.
Is this normal? I'm a 29-year-old woman, i'm 5'3", and (now) weigh 125 pounds - short, athletic body build.

over the last year i have sudden weight gain with a good diet and regular exercise, in fact its now up to 55 lbs.. first i gain weight 20 lbs in 1 month and freak out, and now over the past year with trying every diet my doctor can think of i gain more weight, and more and more and more!!!! they dont think itsm y thyroid but im skeptical, im going to get a 2nd opinion next week.. i am wondering though what are some natural herbs and remedies to regulate my thyroid and speed it up? thanks

I use deodorant and shower every day. However, I still have daily underarm BO. It's really annoying. It's not unbearable, but I think it's gross. I have to change my shirt and re-apply deodorant every day when I get home from work. But even then I start to smell again within a few hours. Throught this whole process, I won't have sweated once. The odor isn't accompanied by sweat. What's the deal? How do I fix it? I'm desparate! Help!

....i'm only getting the novocaine shots. I'm really nervous. All but one of my wisdom teeth are still under my gums and the other is only half way out. That one is impacted. What can I expect when I go? Is it going to be really painful without being put to sleep or having the laughing gas?

I took the Depo shot for about 1 and 1/2 years. Then since there were unwanted sides effects, I decided to switch to birth control pills it was at the end of the 3 months when I would have normally gotten another "shot". So now it's been two complete months that I have been on the pills, well, I'm in the "period week" period day 4 out of 7, and no period. I know for sure I haven't been sexual active since I started the pill, long story...so either I'm about 3 months pregnant or my body hasn't regulated yet. Any ideas on this?

im at colege at the moment and the corse im on is making me really stressed and im always getting short temperd cos theres so much work piled on me and i dont no what to do anymore. i really want the qualification but i feel like ive got to the point i dont wanna go on doing this any more.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to stay awake during the day besides going to bed earlier? I'm in middle school and the last couple days I have been really tried at school and when I get home I feel like going to sleep at like 5:00pm and I almost fall asleep during school. i feel like i'm stuck and honestly dont know what to do anymore...i've been having panic attacks since last year and they aren't getting any better...i have all the symptoms of anxiety and i'm resorting to diagnosing myself by taking self tests and all results come up as severe anxiety and moderate to severe depression...i'm always told i'm very shy and i'm starting to really want to change that and start over...i'm also considering going to a new school because i just want to change so badly and i'm taking it as a bad thing and i feel like i'm just not accepted...i've also attempted cutting myself but really dont go through with it and actually cut myself...i've had some issues in the past and not too long ago with being ostracized by my "friends" and ever since i've never been the same and have horrible trust issues and i'm very paranoid...i dont know what to do anymore

I also have lesions all over my stomach, so I am not always able to take some meds or treatments. When I take FiberCon or Metamucil, they bloat me and I become swollen because the fiber builds up and is not easily released.

Well Im 12 years old soon to be 13.

I have had discharge for about 7 months

I have had breast buds for 2 years

I have had pubic and underarm hair for 3 years

I have wider hips

What do you think.
