For about a year now I've had this problem and it seems to be worse in the last few months:
Before my belly got bloated really bad and had some constipation around my period.....seemed normal.
now all of the time I am constipated. my belly feels all blown up and I have gas a lot. it is so embarrasing because people say taht I am gaining weight (even though I did a little..) but it is only my belly that is "fat" I feel like the muscles are pushing out or I am bloated...maybe even my back seems curved like it is pushing my stomach out (I do have scoliosis). Anyway..I am tired of people asking if I'm pregnat (about 15 comments!!!). I see commercials on tv like relicore for stress related belly fat...or ibs......my belly sometimes looks like those poor poor kids you see on tv taht are malnourished. I've changed my diet. I include hardly no fast food....I eat more fiber, fruits, and milk. Though my constipation seems not as bad when I eat better.my belly is still "pregant looking"

My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 5 months ago. She still talks about cutting out recipes to make a big meal or is worried about where to store her Christmas sweatshirts for next year, etc. Her prognosis was 6 months and she's doing well at 5, but chances are she won't be here next Christmas. She'll also probably never have the strength to cook a big meal--she's already very weak. Do you think this is healthy for her mentally to think positively like this or is she in denial? I don't want her to be morbid or negative, but wonder if she shouldn't be facing reality a bit more?? What is YOUR opinion?

I'm starting this Health and Fitness Program at my church and there are all these interesting facts about Health & Fitness and lifestyle.

One thing that has stuck out is that fact that bottled water can taste different from one company to the next. My understanding is that water is pure color-less, odor-less and flavor-less.

I've heard that bottled water can taste different because different companies use different filtration systems. Then I've heard that it's the bottle you're tasting. Finally, of course everyone knows all bottled water (except for the Wal-Mart brand) is made by gnomes who melt down large crystal-clear glaciers in Alaska using their magical hats. The reason some bottles of water taste different from others is because different gnomes have different hats which produce different tastes.

In all seriousness, I really need to know why. I've Googled and everything and I haven't found a straight answer.

my mom is getting really bad stomach pain, like cramps from under her ribs down. It started off a while ago but not as bad she says. It's nothing like gas or atleast doesnt feel like it.

Any ideas. I am a healthy girl. I have lost a lot of weight over the past few years and have been sucessful in keeping it off. But lately when ever I rest my heart flutters in my chest .it dosn't hurt and there are no other symptoms or any other issues. But it worries me and it is confusing.

Due to emphysema, the doctor ordered my 86 yr old mom to quit smoking last July. Her health has thankfully improved since then. She, however forgets every day that she quit so she goes through the house looking for cigarettes and then accuses me of hiding them from her. Then she breaks down and cries and goes to bed. Then she gets up and the cycle returns. Any tips on what I can say to her to get her to settle down? Thanks

Has anyone ever not been sure whether something actually happened in childhood or weather it was a dream? I'm afraid to mention what it is because it's not good...I don't think it's real but for some reason it was a reccuring dream (about something that could have happened) when i was growing up and I cant decide whether it was real or not. anyone else experienced this or have any comments?

About eight months ago, I started taking birth control pills. After my first month on the pill, I got my period about two weeks late, and after the first day, I started having the most painful cramps I've ever experienced. I guess they can be compared to contractions because this sharp pain would occur about three minutes apart. About half an hour after the cramps, I expelled a blood clot, about the size of a tea bag, that looked very unfamiliar. It was long and looked more dense than a normal blood clot. The cramps stopped after this, and I've had a normal period since. I was wondering what this may have been?

I've got a whole buncha scars from cutting. I also have a whole bunch of fresh cuts on my arm. How can i hide the scars from my peers?
P.S. My parents know and i am seeing a therepist

First- i am against that!
Second- its too sad how ppl WASTED their life that way
Third - For what i heard, it can become an addiction till the point your body will ask you for it.

I was just reading about it, and i found mostly of the 98% of the celebs and normal ppl likes to do this. But wayy to crazy after doing that, they need to attend to rehabs center or phychologists.

i def think smoking cigarettes or any drugs as marihuana is SUPER BAD FOR YOU! and smoking is even worst.
