Incase any one doesnt know what apple shapped is .....Apple shaped tends to describe women who have wide torsos (full bust, waist and upper back).

experts feel that people with apple shaped bodies are more prone to diseases like diabetes and heart or respiratory problems. there is a link between waist size and these problems. women should have a waist size of 33" or less and men of 35" or less. just tyope "waist size" into any search engine and you get site after site that tell about it.

It's not 'wrong' to be apple shaped. You can't help your body type. What it means is that you have to be careful when you gain weight, as having a waist measurement over 32-34 inches puts you at an increased risk of heart disease/diabetes.

Better than being pear shaped. Even though I'm underweight, I still have fat nasty thighs and wide hips
