I had a similar condition years ago called Paroxsismal arythmic tachacardia (spelling is likely wrong). I would wake up in the morning to find my heart absolutely racing. The first time it happened I drove myself to the ER (which I then found out was a NONO) and my heart was beating 198 beats /minute. on one occasion it was beating so hard it actually had my PJ's flapping.
Anyway it has something to do with the valves of the heart.

It was corrected by some very minor (laser) surgery...in and out the same day. You might want to ask your doctor to check out your heart valves.

Any abnormality with the heart should be brought up to your doctor. I wouldn't get too freaked especially since you aren't having any pain. It sounds like heart palpatations, which is easily treated. But don't ignore it something is going on and that is your heart's way of letting you know. So call your doc and make an appointment, I'm sure everthing will work out. oh and congratulations on the weight loss!

Maybe stress is the cause. I suggest trying breathing deeply and slowly. Also, drinking tea, playing w/ pet(s), read, or w/e can help your heart slow down and beat normally. If your heart is still racing, go see your doctor. But i'm sure it's nothing serious.

If your using any weight loss pill's, stop ! You need to get to your MD for evaluation ASAP.This could be from a number of things, like a electrolyte imbalance or a heart condition. Not to be ignored for any reason. Take care. SW RNP

See a doctor fast. You could be prone for a heart attack. It is better to know what is going on than to be sorry later.

Talk to your doctor, immediatley.
This sounds like the beginning stages of a heart attack.

Could be thyroid problem or anxiety. Probably nothing too serious but get it checked out.
