I have been a diabetic for 23 years. I have been taking shots for 18 years. My last A1c was 7.4, which is a little higher than I would like it to be. I am very active. Especially during the warmer months.

Plus, if it is really hot outside, will it effect the insulin that is in the pump?

I just need to knowif this is the right thing for me.

Is this a big workout? I work out for 3 hours every 3 or 4 days. I have been doing this for a long time, like 15 years. I do an hour and a half of weight lifting. an hour of cardio. and a half hour of stretching. It works for me. But this guy at the gym keeps bothering me and saying that I work out too much. Is he doing this because he is sexist?

A few months ago my nan was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She recieved an operation in which we were told the cancer was removed. About 5 weeks or so later she started getting pains and when she was finally seen in hospital, she was told that the cancer was in the lymph node and they couldn't operate on it.

What i would like to know, 100% truthfully, is what treatment options there are for her now and what the success rate for them are.

Please, no false hope or doom and gloom. I just need to know so i can stop imagining the worst.

Is it true that bad weather can cause a cold? For instance, if someone had wet hair, and went outside in cold windy weather, would they be likely to get a cold? Or does it only bring down your immunities, so then if there is a bug around it is easier to get a hold of you?

My daughter is 5 and has been running fever off and on for about 3 days. She says her throat hurts "some" but not bad. I have looked in her throat and see no signs of infection or even redness. One of her classmates has been diagnosed with the flu this week. I just wonder if she is trying to get it and her body is trying to fight it off. surgery which didn't work. I took her to the Orthopedic Doctor because she was in pain to see if he could help. He mentioned to her that any more surgery for my ailing Mom whom is 83 probably wouldn't work. He also mentioned in her frail condidtion he told her she probably shouldnt live alone. She said I"M NOT MOVING and I want to LIVE ALONE. (no question about it her comments. Her Mind is very much in tack and I offered her to move in with me. She said absolutly not. I like my own home. We own are home 20 miles away near my husbands job. Any suggestions??

I hear smoking weed can actually change the color of your eyes over time. mainly make them lighter. I know this guy at my old high school who would do it all the time and his eyes actually changed color completly. anyways, does this happen? even the slightest bit?

My brother is an alcoholic. I have sought all kinds of help to make him fine. Sent him to rehab centers twice .. But he is still not coming out of it. He has bcome a great problem to me an my family. A threat.. He is not ready to come out of it. he s become really stubborn. Always does what he wants to do. Never listens to any of us. I dont want him to stay with us. Since i feel he should stay independantly to understand his problem and he alone can tackle it. He has become a total parasite. Thats y i feel he should stay on his own. But under supervision. And he can work there to understand his responsibilty. Are there in places in india who take care of such people- just like old-age homes, etc..
