Hi. I am looking for any information on the eating habits of the Japanese. Are they into meal replacement snacks as Americans are? I wondering because I am doing a project in school on trying to promote a low-carb, meal replacement snack bar. This product is a convenience product for a customer on the go. Please, I know I should do my own work but I am. I'm seeking information of anyone that knows the Japanese culture or that can help me with any information on this topic. Thank you. Oh, by the way..I am not directing this to Japanese only. If anyone can help me that would be great. This is a project that I HAVE to promote a snack-bar, I don't have a choice of what to promote. So, even hints that will help me to attract the Japanese to a healthy snack-bar. Thanks.

I have an upcoming appointment, and have been told that there are now contacts for bi-focal wearers. I have looked them up, and remain completely confused about them. What can you tell me? What do you recommend?

I've been having back, rib and leg pain and went to the chiropractor. He took xrays and my spine was out of alignment. He said that he will be able to fix it by working on me and wants me to go back in 2 days. I'm only 25 years old. I run on a treadmill about 5 times a week. Is this a common thing and how long should it take to get it back in place? I'm having more back pain since he worked on it.

I have been using the withdrawal for about 3 years with no problems at all. My partners have always practised it perfectly and I've never got pregnant. The statistics on many websites, e.g.

http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/malecontraceptives2.html state that out of every 100 women using this method for a year only 4 will get pregnant. That is pretty good stats considering that with the oral contraceptive 1 woman a year will get pgnant-with perfect use and 5 will with 'typical use'. Why is it only people who have either claimed to use this method but not stopped at the right time or people with no experience of this method who act like it is such an irresponsible method to use?
Can anyone actually hold their hands up and say that they know they practiced it perfectly and got pregnant?
I think it is a far better method than the pill-pumping your body full of chemicals every day and reeking havoc with your hormones. Any one agree/disagree/have anything to say on the subject?

I read in the Plavic website that people who had a stroke or heart attack are at risk to have another within a year. A friend of mine, which survive almost intact a recent stroke, is worring too much expecting the next, and probably the faltal one.

At the beginning of the month I went to Park City Utah to promote the film we're making at work (www.anamericanopera.com). Park City is one big hill and I had been walking up and down this hill for about a day and a half when I went to take a step down a set of stairs at a parking garage, and all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in my left knee as I was bending it to step down with my right foot. Well then I couldnt bend it to go down stairs for about 4 or 5 days without a stiff severe pain. Going up stairs was almost as bad, but not quite. I still had two days of walking to do there, just trying to avoid stairs and limping a little. It got a little swollen, but no bruising or redness. After the 5th day of being injured I could finally go up and down stairs with only mild pain. Now, the pain is gone but EVERY TIME I take a step upward my knew cracks pretty loudly. I dont have insurance and was just wondering if anyone had any idea what might be wrong and if it could be serious?

I have a staph infection on my leg and have been on antibiotics for 2 days. The redness and most of the swelling has gone away but I can see where a blister type thing has developed. Should I pop it or wait for it to pop itself?

I been contemplating how often I should run. I would like to run daily. I understand I will be a little too overly sore in the beginning until my body adjusts. I know I can handle every other day, but would like to up it to daily.

I also prefer to run up hill instead of flat.

What do you think, fellow runners?

Thanks.

I am 29 years old and I finally want to do something about my teeth, they are not horrible but they need straightening, can anyone tell me if I should consider invisalign? Or is the traditional metal better? Also will my insurance cover the cost? (Naturally I know I would have to look at my plan and call them, I meant in general is this something that insurance companies support) And finally roughly what will it cost me?
