do more light weight less strenuous work out but faster and more of it, in order to loose weight instead of gain, but rember this can loose muscle weight too. your should do some of each and maintain or even gain for a while first. But it reallyu depends on what shape your in and what you want to acheive and about five hundred full length posts to describe how to accomplish all of them. So I'll leave it at that for now.

Yes, it's true what they say, muscle weighs more than fat. I started working out and I gained 15 pounds in a year. The more muscle you build, the heavier you're going to be, but at least you'll look good :)

Yes, muscles weigh more than fat, so instead of looking at the scale and getting upset because the numbers keep going up, use a measuring tape instead and you will see where you are loosing the fat and building the muscle tone. You will be more apt to notice the great changes you are making to your body and it will show you what areas need to be worked on.

Yes, most likely you will too, escpecially if you haven't exercised on a regular basis before. You have to keep in mind that weight isn't the important number here, its body fat % you are wanting to get lower.

Of course. Most people don't burn as many calories as they think when exercising, then eat more thinking its covered.

No, you're not replacing fat with muscle. You haven't been doing enough for a long enough time to do that.

Yes, because muscle fiber is three time as dense as fat. People can make the mistake of weight being the important factor, as opposed to body fat composition or percentage.
