i had an mri a couple months ago,and when i went to my doctor to review the results she told me everything looked fine.now after a couple months of pain, and being kicked around getting no help,i went to get my mri film so i could go to another doctor . im not trained to read an mri,but what i saw didnt look good at all.on the side view both the thoractic and lumbar images show a major bulge that is causing a huge indent in my spinal nerve path. the top view shows several disks that are bulged out and surrounding the nerves.kind of wrapped around. i spent the day looking at both normal and abnormal mri images on the net,and mine are far from normal. when compared to the images on the net mine are far from normal. so here i am in moderate to severe pain and getting no management of the pain. im wondering what type of doctor i should seek? my family doctor is surely nuts. any suggestions????

A couple of days ago my friend and I decided to go sleding late at night but since the snow had turned to ice we went sleding VERY fast. We thought we were going to hit a tree so i put my hand down but it got caught in someones footprint in the snow and bent. My finger was not straight and it started to swell up about 20 min. after the accident and hurt REALLY bad. So i taped my pointer finger to it(since it was my middle finger) and let it be . Now, 2 days later, its still a little swollen, stif, and my whole finger and the part under your finger is still buised. How long is it going to take to heal? Is it a sprain?

say one day you eat 1500 calories..

breakfast - 300 kcal

lunch - 500 kcal

dinner - 700 kcal

one day

then the next day you eat

breakfast - 150 kcal

lunch - skipped

dinner - 600 kcal

would it be ok to make up for the 750 calories you missed out on by eating chocolate or something like that?

At the end of both days you've eaten the equal amount of calories.

Help please- I am a 43 year old executive and have natrually pretty features, but the long hours, stress, travel and push to the SVP level have taken their toll on my face. I see the neck a little saggy and the face looking a bit tired looking including my eye lids which look like they are tired. Help I don't want to look pulled, or freaky, but I need a bit of work that will leave me looking refreshed and youthful so I can complete my career path for at least the next 10 years, and looking pretty and young are a competitive advantage.
Help!
