Sounds like me. I was diagnosed hypoglycemic (low blood sugar/metabolic syndrome). What helped me was 3 medium sized meals a day and snacks (almonds/sunflower seed/soy nuts) in between each meal. This helps level blood sugar and cut the cravings. Meat is good as protein can help cut the cravings - salmon and tuna are even better, because of their nutritional value.
Tiredness after eating can be from too heavy eating of high glycemic carbs, or from low blood sugar pre-meal catching up with you before the food from the meal has time to process.

Your body is probably trying to tell you that you aren't feeding it the right things. For breakfast I eat Kashi cereal, light yogurt, and applesauce. Sometimes I eat an egg instead of yogurt. Then I eat a salad, a string cheese, and a low fat, high protein "entree" like a ham sandwich on whole wheat for lunch. I don't usually feel hungry, and I'm also losing about a pound a week since I adopted this new eating habit, because my body is finally getting what it needs to thrive.

you say you have two meals a day, we are meant to have three for a reason. If its breakfast your missing it is really important, i didn't use to eat breakfast but after a weight scare and being ill for over 6 months i do. Now i'm am less tired and if your wondering it is also VERY good for the diet!
Good Luck

Hayley:
There could be a number of reasons.
In your shoes, I would see a doctor an ask him the same question and see what he says.
After that you will know what path to follow and your work would be cut out in at least half for you.
Take care.
