has anyone had more than two teeth extracted at same time and did you have any problems afterwards?

I had all 4 of mine removed at the same time under general anesthetic, I had no problems at all, a minor bit of swelling and a little pain but that is to be expected. We all react differently though, you might be absolutely fine or it might affect you in a worse way. Just don't let anyone fill your head with horror stories, it really isn't that bad.
You'll bleed pretty bad for a couple of hours but as it's your mouth it will heal fairly quick and you'll get a bunch of painkillers
Don't worry, you'll be glad to see the back of them!

Are you having anesthesia? I did when I had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted.

My best piece of advice is to get a milkshake and put it in your freezer before you go for the procedure. Then as soon as you get home, mix your painkiller up in the milkshake and eat it with a spoon (no straws...they destroy the clots you're forming). Make sure someone goes with you to drive you as you won't be able to.

I had a good experience. Two days later, I was feeling well enough to go to a party. Of course, I only ate pudding , jello, and applesauce for a week. Good luck.

Hi Pola,
Because of an infection in my my gums I had all my teeth out eighteen in all, the dentist used gas and I didn't feel any pain.
Before the extraction I could not eat Ice cream or apples actually most types of food caused me pain and after six months i had a beautiful set of nashers. Now I can eat anything as a matter of fact they area lot better than the old ones and I can even eat nuts. So go ahead and get your teeth out and stop worrying you will feel a lot better.
and Good Luck

I had 2 wisdom teeth and 2 bottom teeth removed in preparation for getting braces. Make sure you have something for pain afterward [ I had some pain for about a day] and stick to liquids or soft foods for a day or so. Hang out at home and rest for a full day if you can.

I know it's scary, but hey, your tougher than you think and yea, we do all react differently but the main thing to remember is, there are far worse things that can happen to you and it is suprisingly easy really, not like anyone has asked you eat 10 raw pigs for breakfast!
Teeth out - ugh, but with some modern and old fashioned painkillers out there, you'll be fine. get baby rusks and disolve/mush up to smooth paste with milk, yum, oh and if not a general then demand happy gas/nitrose oxide I think - it's great

Actually, it is usually best to have them all done at the same time; especially if you are going to be sedated ("put to sleep"). The surgeon can get them all out and then you only have one recovery period. Depending on the amount of work that has to be done getting them out, you could feel fine the next day or have a moderate amount of pain (some teeth are more buried in bone than others "Impacted").

Get them all out, eat some frozen yogurt, watch some movies while resting on the couch and you will be better in a few days.

this is a record i'm sure i've had 10 teeth out! It was for medical reason NOT cos i ate too many sweets. My experience was horrible and put me off hospital for life, but thats ownly because i had so many out. I also had 4 out on another occasion and that was fine. It should be fine, it will hurt a bit but yogurt, soup and icecream are perfect solutions.

Don't listen to horror stories about this. It isn't all that bad, especially when you go to a good surgeon. I put mine off because of the stories I heard all my life about how bad it turns out. But I finally did it and glad it is over, besides not being a thing like I had heard it would be like. The BS we put up with in this world!!!

i had 4 wisdom teeth ermoved at the same time... 2 top 2 bottom. the only problem i had afterwards was that i got sick a little bit from the anesthesia. other than that it was just the normal stuff they told me would happen, like bleeding. good luck!
