Does anyone ever get those little white things in their nails? Can anyon tell me what those are caused by?

Yes, I've always been told it's a calcium deficiency. I don't think it's anything to panic about, but you could always increase your milk intake, or take a calcium chew.

They are usually caused by trauma to the nail and will grow out with the nail. Parallel lines on all your nails could be a vitamin deficiency.

If your talking about the white parts that just randomly appear to your nail then it's a vitamin defficiency.

Lack of calcium. Be sure to drink plenty of milk.

It's NOT calcium deficiency. It's a ZINC deficiency. Take a zinc tab with your usual vitamins and it will go away.

They are casued by no t drinking enough Calcium. Drinking milk helps!

My son has them bad. Never have asked any doctor what causes them.

they are caused by a lack of Iron, go buy some Iron tablets and they will go .
