Help please- I am a 43 year old executive and have natrually pretty features, but the long hours, stress, travel and push to the SVP level have taken their toll on my face. I see the neck a little saggy and the face looking a bit tired looking including my eye lids which look like they are tired. Help I don't want to look pulled, or freaky, but I need a bit of work that will leave me looking refreshed and youthful so I can complete my career path for at least the next 10 years, and looking pretty and young are a competitive advantage.
Help!

There are a lot of procedures available these days that can reduce signs of aging without a dramatic procedure such as face lift.
You can have work done around the eyes (blepharoplasty), nose (rhinoplasty). You can have botox injections, chemical or laser resurfacing (making the skin look more smooth and soft), collagen injections or implants (make the cheek bones or chin more prominent and hold the skin up).
There are different types of surgeons who can do these "cosmetic" procedures.
1. Plastic Surgeons
2. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (OMFS)
3. Otolaryngeal Surgeons
You want to find a surgeon who has done the type of procedure a lot, gives you plenty of information (about the risks/benefits/alternatives).
Also, many people who are considering plastic surgery can benefit from restorative or cosmetic dental procedures. As people age, they consume lots of foods that stain their teeth (wine, cola, coffee, etc). Also, as we age, the enamel on our teeth thins which can make the teeth appear yellow.
For the stains, vital tooth whitening (with custom trays made by a dentist) and prescription strength whitening material can be very useful. If these techniques do not produce an adequate shade change OR the shapes of the teeth are irregular a person can benefit from veneers (older teeth have a flat "worn down" appearance; younger smiles and teeth follow a nice curve that is coincident with the shape of the lips).
Combining the minor cosmetic facial procedures with dental procedures will give a well balanced change combining youthful looking eyes and skin with a brite younger looking smile.
Good luck!

I would suggest neck, facial and eyelid lifts.
A neck lift would help lift the litle area of neck under your chin, making your chin look firmer and younger.
A facial lift takes back your cheeks so they don't droop like they want to as you get older. This can almost make your chin line look even better.
Eyelid lifts cut away a little section of your eyelid (either top or bottom), making them firmer so they don't have that tired, saggying look.
If you do decide to go ahead with plastic surgery (and it sounds like you're pretty much set), spend some time researching plastic surgeons. You want someone who can give you the youthful look you want, but still have it look natural and not forced. Some doctors will even have patients willing to come in so you can see what they've had done, and that way you're not fooled by the glossy, photoshopped images on their webpages. ^_^
If it comes down to someone in your area who's decent, and someone half way across the country who's better, pay the extra for the travel. It's better than having a second surgery ten years down the road because you didn't like the first one!
Good luck!

Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

A face lift together with some work on your eyes and neck is what you need. Plus a little vacation will surely help!!
I have friends who have suffered with similar problems. They had plastic surgeries and they are very happy with the results. They claim it has improved their lives tremendously. But you must go to a good hospital/surgeon for your treatment.
Most of my friends went overseas for their plastic surgery treatment as they give you the best quality treatment out there for much cheaper as compared to the US/UK. Even with the travel and other related costs added up, they ended up saving lots.
One friend of mine who went to India for her facelift saved almost 70% as compared to the US price. She went to a JCI accredited hospital which provided her with excellent service and had world-class facilities. She went through a medical tourism facilitator called Healthbase (http://www.healthbase.com). Check it out. They have a lot of resources online you might find helpful and they connect international patients to the best quality hospitals overseas.
Hope this helps and hope that you are able to work for even more than 10 years in your career path!!

If you wish to appear younger than your current age, then you should consider aesthetic plastic surgery. This includes both procedures that reverse o rimprove signs of aging and those that enhance appearance. There are a lot of informative articles at http://cosmetic-surgery.my-fashion-house.com/ that can help to resolve your questions.

There's something called a "quick lift". I'm not sure what it entails, but it is not as invasive as a face lift.
