I have always wanted to become left handed but have never been able to muster up th discipline to practice everyday with my left hand. I am contemplating putting my right hand in a cast for a few weeks in order to force myself to become left handed. Would this work? Are there any better ideas out there?

This morning i woke up with super swollen eyes and the top part of the nose area swollen as well. I put chammomile tea bags on them for about 25min yet it didint help. My left eye is so swollen that its even difficult to look down. also a the bottom of my eyes (where undereye circles would be) is itchy.What can it be?What can i do or take? PLease help

I just started exercising again; I'm doing 30 minutes on a treadmill at 5mph about 3-4 times a week. It's like a fast jog/slow run for me. Last time I was running (the second time since I've started), my heartbeat was up to like 190 beats per minute!!! That seems a little crazy to me! Is it just because I'm out of shape? I don't feel like I'm having any trouble exercising; that is, I don't feel like I'm going to die of exhaustion or anything like that! So why is my heartbeat so high? Will it eventually slow down during cardio?? What is normal?

Cure for cancer: No profit means no interest in it ?

A research scientest at the University of Alberta believes he will have problems with research money into a simple cancer treatment; because there is not profit in it, it is not a patenable drug.

January 16, 2007 - Edmonton - DCA is an odourless, colourless, inexpensive, relatively non-toxic, small molecule. And researchers at the University of Alberta believe it may soon be used as an effective treatment for many forms of cancer.

Dr. Evangelos Michelakis, professor U of A Department of Medicine, has shown that dichloroacetate (DCA) causes regression in several cancers, including lung, breast and brain tumors.

Do you think the fact that profits cannot be made in a cure, renders much of the research money into expensive pharamceutical drugs and treatments that are not the best ?

My girl friend who is 22 years old some times get this breathing problem where she isn't able to breathe normally..but she feels like its blocked somehow. And this comes along with severs chest pain .
And this stays for only few hours.
What could be the causes of this problem of hers?
She consulted few doctors but they couldn't find any problem with her!!

Oh my god, this is so weird. I am a teen who's really heathy, but I've gotton these slight wrinkles under my eyes!!! What caused this?? I'm thin, so it's not skin hanging down or anything. Is it stress? Or weather (I love in an area that gets snow in the winter)? How do I get rid of these wrinkles???

I was at the gym 4 days ago running , with heartrate =185. (i haven't ran in a long time). I was ok until right when i ended my running, i had this feeling like i couldn't catch my breath and felt i was going to pass out. Ever since then, I am still out of breath even walking through the house! I have never had anything like this before (aside from when i have brochitis). Anyone know what the cause coudl be? has this happened to anyone else?
---additional info-i went for echicardiogram, and stress test and my heart is fine!!! doc doesnt know and sent me on my way

Call me crazy but I had an I.U.D inserted this past Valentine's Day. I am conflicted by all the different information I find about I.U.D's. So I was wondering if anyone could help me with some questions I have.... I got the copper one.
