I prefer Orasure because of the quickness of the test. I hate having to wait 3 weeks to see if I'll live or die. It's also just as accurate as a regular blood test.

I've not been tested, but if I was going to, then I'd want a traditional Blood Test, I wouldn't trust new methods like Orasure. It is such an important test, I'd want to be as certain as possible that I'd get the correct result.

I know that Orasure claims to be as reliable, but I prefer to stick to the tried and tested methods.

I have only been tested by peeing in a cup & blood tested, but I would most definetly try Orasure anyday; I HATE blood.

I prefer the orasure it is just a swab in the mouth and you get your results in a few days. It is just as accurate as a blood draw.

Blood test

I've been tested for all serious STDs (HIV, Hepatitis B and C, Syphilis) and Chlamydia by giving blood only once. 5 tests with only one occasion at the doctor, I think it really worth that little pain and patience (HIV 1 week, Chlamydia 2 weeks) if you wanna go sure about all these diseases. To go to the doctor is the easy part, to go for the results: hmmmm I was scared to death, but everybody who i asked has been trough all of this just to receive some negative results. Go for it, you will feel so much better after all. And good luck!!
