When I had my wisdom teeth removed, they gave me a new toothbrush. I wasn't 100% awake when they gave it to me, so I don't remember what they said about it. Is there a reason why I'd need a new one after the oral surgery? Or were they just being nice or whatever? Just curious..

Does Coffee really stunt growth? Please provide some kind of evidence or facts, I was just wondering because im 5'8 and ive been drinking it for about a year and I do not know if i am getting any taller. So if you know if coffee stunts growth do tell, thank you.

Okay, so, I shave my vag and I have for awhile. Razor burn is generally unavoidable, what with the horror that are college showers. This wouldn't be a problem, but I just shaved and it looks kind of ugly...and I'm going to be posing nude soon for a friend's photography project, and I'd rather not the red bumpiness be preserved on film. Hopefully it'll fade by then, but if it doesn't, would lotion help? And is it just a bad idea in general to put lotion in that general area? Thanks!

i tripped and hit my big toe on a stair really hard and it hurt really, really badly. it's been about a week and it still hurts on the joint and just below, on the bone. There is a small bump on the bone that hurts when I put light pressure on it. Sometimes when I walk, it hurts a lot and also, when I wore some 3 inch heels, it hurt pretty badly. It doesn't hurt like crazy anymore, but could it be fractured or jammed? what do you think?

It's weird. I don't feel sleepy per se, but my eyes want to close and won't stay focused. Obviously, I need more sleep or caffeine but when I'm on the road and this happens to me, I can't go back in time and make sure I slept the night before or had coffee before I left. What are some good tips to help wake myself up when this happens? I've tried biting my tongue, digging my nails into my skin and sitting up straight but it's like the pain doesn't seem to matter. Thoughts?

Ive been on here alot. I just want to say everything ive been feeling. Since January my Best friend had gone with another boy..im a boy. so we stopped talking. I became majorily depressed. We made up here in there. But i think that stressed me out alot. and after all of that i started to get ..what i like to call anxiety. I kept looking up symptoms and then having this feeling like someones squeezing my heart when i saw i had most of them. About a week and a half ago i started having breathing trouble. And what i forgot to mention was i had a pain in my throat almost like a lump was there. But yeah back to that night. I kept getting heart palpitations. I went to the doctor but my breathing rate was 99..right were they want it to be. Once they told me everything i felt better. 6 days ago it started to come back only this time its not going away. Im having heart palpitations.Tension headaches. It all progresses throughout the day ..and muscle aches now..

My son and I are being bit by some type of bug in our home. I have no idea what it is. I have used a bug bomb...and it didnt seem to help. Bites are small and red, itch, and are sometimes painful after itched. They are not in clusters, appear on legs, waistline, belly, arms and neck. They are sporadic. I have washed our bedding in hot water and put on high in the dryer for over an hour. The only pet we have is a hamster. I looked up flea bites online and from what I read, there are usually several in one area. This has been happening since we moved into our new apartment in September. Any ideas? I would prefer some type of natural/non toxic ideas (if possible).
Yes, I vacuum and clean our place. It is not dirty or anything like that. Any help or suggestions are very much appreciated!

i have only just lately started to look into this hole medical marijuana, thing and i have probly done more research than a lot of people. i have found many of the people that i have met that have medical cards for marijuana are not even close to being terminaly ill, most that i have met had it for either there backs or migranes, and they still funktion as part of sosiety, well in a sence, maybe not the sosiety every one agrees with, what i am trying to ask is when the people voted to make marijuana legal in certain states did you realise that so many people would be using marijuana are did you think it would only be for the terminaly ill, see thats what i thought,i mean i think its better this way but i want to no what other think, when i voted for it i had no idea that the young 22 year old lad that i was working with on the construction site would have a medical card and be smoking a eight a night with his girl friend. i meen good for him but i am just saying i had no idea.

has anyone ever bought those orthapetic inserts for your shoes. They are supposed to give you good arch support and prevent from back pain etc. Dr Sholls and among others make these inserts. They are pricey so I wanted to know if anyone tried them?

My symptoms felt like I had sprained my foot, and then became kind of bruised underneathe. Doctor said it was cellulitis because it was also swollen. X-rays confirmed I had an infection there. Antibiotics for 2 weeks and then again for another week. It went away or so I thought.

It has returned again, back on antibiotics for another week. Swelling went down a little, but something still doesn't feel right. Dr. is making me go for an ultrasound to test my veins and arteries to see if I have a circulation problem that is affecting me not getting well. Add to the fact that I am diabetic and therefore slow healing will take place.

I'm not sure what else it can be, unless my doctor has misdiagnosed me. She seemed stumped as well, as to why I wasn't healing properly.

126/98 with a pulse of 108.
My symptoms before this happened were...dizziness, weakness, and nausea.
About 10 minutes later it went to...Left arm) 140/100 pulse110
and right arm) 142/90 pulse 109.
These are spikes that I have been having lately.
I had a symptoms of my left eye getting all red like blood the last time this happened.
My pulse has gone as low as 45, and the high was 110.
I'm not on any medication because it's usually within normal range, and I never kept track of it before. But lately I've had these wierd feelings which made me start taking it, and each time it has been a spike. I have also used 2 different BP monitors, and they are both the same. I'm worried because the BP is also very different in both arms, and the pulse has a significant difference in both arms.
Any ideas? Thanks

I've had TMJ since i was 12 (i'm 18 now) I've never had treatment for it and it's in both sides of my jaw. my jaw cracks extreamly loud on both sides every time I open it or move it side to side. Recently I've been getting really bad headaches and feeling dizzy and nashious. is that normal tmj symptoms or does it sound like something else?

About 1 month ago I financed a set of braces for myself because my dentist told me that I needed to correct my overbite and several bottom crooked teeth.I asked him about invisilign and he said that it was not an option for me because of the alignment of the top and bottom teeth.I am 32 years old with a very good job dealing with people throughout the day. At the time it seemed like the right choice to make, but I am now afraid to go through the process.My next appointment is in 2 days to have them installed.Should I run?

Today at school I drank about 7 cartons of milk (the small ones they give you in public school with the lunches), and on Friday I drank about 8 cartorns of milk. I am 15 years old female and I am not obese, my BMI is normal (21.3). Is it bad to drink this much milk for my age or circumstances?
