orthapetic inserts...?

Hello
has anyone ever bought those orthapetic inserts for your shoes. They are supposed to give you good arch support and prevent from back pain etc. Dr Sholls and among others make these inserts. They are pricey so I wanted to know if anyone tried them?

There are some brands here in CA as low a $7.00 per pair. The price does not have to be high for them to work. They are the one area chiropractors are more limited in there ability to help but according to mine (who uses them) they work.
3/4 and full size makes no difference which ever you prefer.
