I am 14 and i have a great fear of death. Im scared because i donnot know what is to happen after. I feel like i am scared to die because i am just too happy being alive and i just dont want to go. I realized that i WILL die when i was about 12 and i get long exciety attacks when i do think about it and they last about 10-20 minutes and i just cry and cry. Ive had a relle hard life moving of 17 times and seeing everything in my life unfold and they worst things that can possibly happen happened to me and i dont understand why i wasnt scared then. Plz help me

Staying mentally active seems to help prevent or at least delay the development of dementia..... so, do you think that the Internet overall will end up helping prevent dementia? Or is surfing just mindless activity (for most people) that will promote dementia in old age?

couldnt sleep. her mother suggested she went to the hospital or a doctor and she did. when she got there, it seems, she started attacking people and yelling out, just gonig nuts, so they restrained and sedated her. shes been in the hospital since. at first she could respond somewhat to others, but would have her "episodes", as if someone else were there, just out of the norm acting. now she jsut bites her lip and can barley open her eyes. she cant walk on her own and can barley speak. she has to wear a diaper. there is a history of schitzophrenia in her family. any know what it could be? female, early 20's

My sister (19 now) was born with HIV through a blood transfusion in the 80's to her pregnant mother, she is very close to my 6 year old daughter, they spend much time toghether. I am worried about the transmission of HIV to my daughter from drinking off of a straw that my sister has also been drinking off of. My sister is now in the stages of her HIV where she is getting throat ulcers and vomiting, URI and Pnumonia. When I found out about her sharing a drink with my daughter through the straw, and her having these mouth sores it really worried me. My daughter over the last six months has also experienced such things as pnumonia, Many URI's and loss of weight, tiredness, etc... She has missed 23 days of school this school season due to being ill from these things. She was recently, in December diagnosed with severe asthma, and just got over pnumonia two weeks ago. Do I have something to worry about with her drinking off my sister?I know my sister would not hurt her. Worried!!!!!!

I am seeing a Psychologist. I see her again Wednesday but I am feeling a bit down. I would like to know why I think people have hidden motives when wanting to spend time with me or even complimenting me. My self-esteem is low I'm sure this is the cause, but why on earth would I think that? Is it because I don't like myself very much? And I'm not confident in myself?
