Clean your face nightly with cotton balls and Listerine, it works great. On break outs use regular toothpaste, no whiteners or bleaching agents, regular tooth paste only. Don't want to bleach the skin.

Adult acne is really frustrating I know.
Try to make sure you do your skin regiment at least morning and night. Such as cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. When washing your face use a clean cloth every time. This helps to exfoliated gently, and I say clean every time, because you don't want any bacteria built up to keep reinfecting the area.
Find out what skin type you are and go from there, for the right products. It doesn't have to be anything expensive. The rule of thumb is the last step is the most important one. So if you want to spend a bit of money use it on the moisturizer. A great website, that researches many different products is called www.cosmeticcop.com Cosmetic Cop. She has many of your answers there, and weeds through the different products for you telling you which ones are the best for the money.
Also a cleanser and moisturizer with acids in it to help exfoliate, and kill bacteria are great. My daughter uses the Dove for sensitive skin, and this is also on the cosmetic cop as a great product, for less price.
I sell Avon, and also their line of acne treatments are great. I use them all the time.
Many people think though that because you may have oily skin that we don't have to moisturize. This is a lie. And in fact our skin will make more oil, if it has to compensate for us not doing so. Thus making for pimples.

Go see a skin doctor. They have new medications that do miracles for the stuff. My son had this problem. He got put on a pill and his face is like a baby's butt now.

Get a drug called accutane from your family doctor. four months and your acne will be gone forever. Its apparantly the best acne medication availible.
