Of course you can get stomach flue every year if that's what is going around. Get the flu shot every year to fight off 'bugs'.

Not everyone gets a stomach virus every year. It depends on what you're exposed to.
Flu is a respiratory illness, so it's impossible to get "stomach flu".

Many times food poisoning is labeled, stomach virus. Especially when it comes from a famous restaurant or cruise ship. Do you eat out a lot?
